In my opinion coindesk is one of the best.  They always seem to be up to date, and very nice writing.  I would say on par with newspaper quality.

I would love to know if there is one of coindesk quality that focuses more on the mining side.

Coinfire.io is one of the most interesting ones. They indulge in actual journalism rather than just squirting out PR shite which is what 99% of them do. Coindesk looks pretty but regularly shits all over its own credibility.

http://two-bit-idiot.tumblr.com/ this one has regular updates from a guy who's connected in the BTC space. There's often things here you don't find anywhere else, or it's first. He broke the Mt Gox is dead story.

Check out this one Thebitcoinpage (http://www.thebitcoinpage.com/), scroll down to news column. There's all kinds of websites there really helpful.

never heard of coinfire.io will head over and take a look. coindesk is biased with nearly every article. not really surprising as their goal is to get as much revenue in as possible.

Yes, but coindesk is very Bitcoin-focused and it addresses to less topics about other coin concepts in my opinion.
That's one reason why I am looking for alternatives.

it is a XBT news aggregator (like the cryptocoinupdates.com) meaning that gathers all the latest news from different btc news sites and publish them in one place.

I've only seen one or two, I think one was coindesk...

Hey, that's not a bad looking site. I like that you don't jump in front of my face with ads, popups or info/subscription boxes. I think if you focus on great content and build a readership the ad revenue will come without being intrusive. Best of luck!

If you open the site, your browser will show you if there is a RSS feed available.

Of course there is another way... By viewing the source and there, i can see the rss url.

Okay, you are right. Google Chrome uses another concept. By using Safari or Firefox there appears a button in the address field that indicates that there is a RSS feed for the site.
