Guess this just makes things a little easier for badbear though. All in one place. Not calling anyone out. Just something I noticed that will probably get worse when others catch on. Sure there should be a little extra room to complain about forum policy/moderation a little bit however there should be a limit to how far people can go especially when they are just outright in the wrong.

Shutting down all signature campaign may not a wise option ,isn't it ? How about make an exception to post on meta section ? I think it will help to reduce some... People are starting to take advantage of the fact that Meta can only be moderated by global moderators and Admins, and that we tend to have a greater hands off approach in Meta, as the section generally is for things that shouldn't be censored. That said, people that are very obviously spamming in Meta will still have their posts removed for banned. Those that are doing it more sneakily require a bit more tact.
I've been locking concluded Meta threads lately when there is confirmation by the OP that they have recieved the info they were looking for, to keep the spammers out. |
