My wallet got corrupted, With this error message coming up "Error loading blkindex.dat", Luckily i saved a backup file before this happened, Now im having trouble restoring the wallet, Im using a 2014 iMac, I have the .Dat file saved but im unsure where to put this in the new wallet. If anyone can help it would be hugely appreciated Cheers Tedman123 You wallet is in the wallet.dat file. blkindex.dat is related to the blockchain and you can download that again. To restore your wallet in a new install, copy the wallet.dat file there. It's safe to do whatever with blkindex.dat. You will have to rescan and reindex the entire blockchain which can take a few hours.
