0.4 for hero member is very low they generally trade for 0.8btc and above. You will get a senior account for that price.

As stated above - the price you're looking for is very low for a Hero member. I've seen a Senior Member go for 0.45btc, that had positive trust however.
You may want to increase your offering to 0.8-1.1 for what you're looking for.

You would be lucky if you could find a Hero member account for 0.6btcs, and you want 0.4? Heck, if anyone's willing to sell you a Hero for 0.4, I'll pay 0.45 for it ;)

Like the others have said, a more appropriate price would be 0.8-1.0 btc.

If you find someone selling you a Hero Member account for 0.4 do tell him that Rony will pay you extra :P
C'mon dude, best you can get for 0.4 is trusted sr. member or a sr. member close to Hero Member. Nothing better than that.

Good Luck ;)

The average price of an Hero Member is 0.7BTC . If it has more green trust, the price of it will be higher again. You will never buy a Hero Member as

your request at the cost 0.4BTC. But if you're lucky, you can buy an Hero account with 0.55BTC- 0.6BTC at an auction and  be careful to check before

buying. Wish you success !

You are all spaming, just to get higher post. I was trying to sell hero member with +1 trust (not green) for 0.5btc, but got only one offer in 2 weeks, but he stopped responding. I sold it for 0.45btc, so OP offer is ok. Prices are that low because there is no buyers. :-\

That was an auction not a sale.
Big difference.

I too won quite a few options in these forums and saved me a bit of coins.
However, I wouldn't say I got high quality product.
It was OK, just not what you would get if you paid a bit extra.

I know, I was just giving you a hard time :-) He could have bid on it though as it seemed to meet the criteria of what he was looking for.

I was looking to buy one also, but but there's just too much "unknown" with these accounts for my liking.

but with no signed msg, so risks are bigger.

But I agree that expecting 1+BTC for a hero is too much today

0.5 BTC is what you can hope for. If you want more wait the next bubble or at least prices back to 500+

Are you guys serious?

Let's see:
To reach Hero Member status you need to have activity 480.
You can only get 14 activity point every 2 weeks.
So that means to reach Hero Member status you need a little over 17 months (almost 1.5 years) and hundreds if not thousands of posts made.

And you think 0.5BTC ($119.75 @ todays price) is more than enough?

EDIT: For me to reach Hero Member status it will take me another 8 months and a few days, and I have been active since July 13, 2014
It's a long time huh?  ;)

I think everyone here to make comments on the standard of a normal Hero Member , not a Hero Member with a little like your problem (can't sign a

message) That is very risky . Of course, that buyer will very lucky if you're a honest seller

With my pathetic newb status, I've grown accustomed to be more trustful towards posts issued by Hero/Legendary members. As an example, I signed up for Lee's group buy, based on vouching/positive feedback from those members.

I understand that bitcoin afficionados enjoy their liberties, but shouldn't there be some moderation to block requests to buy/sell these accounts?

Visitors of BitcoinTalk shouldn't have to verify whether or not Hero/Legendary members have rightfully acquired their status and can indeed be trusted.

PS: maybe this whole thread is some kind of joke or trollbait I'm not getting?

Using alt accounts and buying/trading accounts is not against the forum rules, but if someone is banned, then making an alt to circumvent that is against the rules. You are right to say that you can not be sure whether tan account was bought or earned, but you know that it has some amount of value even if it was purchased. If Hero accounts scam, they will be caught by the community and then the value will plunge, so that's why it's less common to see Hero accounts scamming, though I'm sure it does happen.

Just keep in mind its not worth a Hero account to be scammed, since the potential amount if signed up on a signature campaign.

But, there are people who really just go out and try with a big loan request but usually fail.

The difference is that to create a hero member from scratch it takes a little under 1.5 years with countless hours of posting.
You tend to appreciate that more rather than an account you bought.

Aparently though, FeelTheBeat gave it for only 0.45 because there were no buyers.

That means they are just wasting their time create hero account and then sell it to people for a cheap price. Why are they doing that? Many people will think that this is like a scam account or may be got banned before or any other thing might happened to this account

Not everyone creates accounts to sell at a later date. If you've got a spare Hero account or don't really need it any more 0.45 is still a decent amount merely for a forum account but I agree it seems silly to sell so low and the account is worth much more but sometimes people just need money or want a quick sale.

0.5 is on a low side for a Hero Member. It maybe a perfect price for a newly turned hero member but Those having activity >650 can even sell for 1 BTC and those having >700 for 1.2-1.5 as they can turn Legendary anytime from 750-1k I guess.

I'm not sure about flat rate campaigns, but you can get 0.0013-0.0015 per post as a Hero Member with DA DICE, 7BitCasino and Bit-X... so the opportunity to quickly ROI is there, I'd imagine.

Moderation wouldn't stop anything and just give users like yourself a false sense of security. You now know accounts are bought and sold and as such you shouldn't blindly trust them because of this, but having a higher rank doesn't really mean anything other than you've been here a while and doesn't mean you can trust them.
Sorry for the noob question but how do you know who you can trust then?

No question is a newbie question, I go by the easy guide trust nobody with more than their account is worth lol Always use escrow with excellent rep Green trust and amount of time on the forum plays a part in knowing to trust, are they on default etc

OP 1 month and 10 days have you got a Hero account for 0.4btc? If not think no one is selling for that and you need to raise your price by even a little should do it, like 0.5 - 0.65 should get you a low rank Hero member I will sell low rank Hero towards the higher value to you.

If you have already got it, close thread mate.

I can give you 0.4BTC for hero account.
Pm me.....

There are fixed rate campaigns offering 0.3BTC to hero accounts.
You may have more success if you offer 1BTC+

Can you post the threads that are offering .3 BTC please I would really love to see them.

I'm not sure about flat rate campaigns, but you can get 0.0013-0.0015 per post as a Hero Member with DA DICE, 7BitCasino and Bit-X... so the opportunity to quickly ROI is there, I'd imagine.

True I would assume if you posted quality posts you can ROI real quick.
