Title: Hello to All! Post by: omegaaf on August 30, 2012, 08:38:06 PM Hello everyone, it'll be a pleasure working with you all. Currently I am hitting around 650 Mh/s with my single graphics card computer, but in the next while, I will be setting up a couple more.

Title: Re: Hello to All! Post by: omegaaf on August 30, 2012, 08:43:50 PM Currently there is 16gb of RAM OC'd to 2000MHz, AMD 1090T 6-core CPU OC'd to 4GHz, Radeon 6990 OC'd to 1GHz, 5TB hard disk space. getting to what I want but not quite there yet.. lol
Title: Re: Hello to All! Post by: 50BTC.com on August 30, 2012, 10:01:43 PM Hello! What miner are you using? Your card can do >850Mhash/s at 1Ghz.

I'm suspecting that in about 90 days there's going to be an awful lot of whining around here. Title: Re: Hello to All! Post by: Dum3 on August 31, 2012, 08:38:31 AM You can never rely on BFL though ::)

I hear ATI cards are better for mining! Title: Re: Hello to All! Post by: pyrkne on August 31, 2012, 10:59:35 PM I hear ATI cards are better for mining! Yeah, looking at the mining hardware comparison page, ATI GPUs seem to get the best output. I wonder if a miner optimized for CUDA could get closer. Title: Re: Hello to All! Post by: omegaaf on August 31, 2012, 11:01:58 PM Yeah Ive had the issues sorted out, I'm doing about 800Mh/s average with constant peaks upwards of 1200+. Im sure I can do a LOT more on the fine-tuning but as of now, it is of nice power. If only linux ran it.. Im currently using CGMiner @I=14. the card is only running at 75 degrees, i know I can push it more.

If I tried to get 800Mh/s out of this rig, it would probably melt. ;) Title: Re: Hello to All! I had an x850XT(AGP) in my old computer, i unplugged the fan and the card was running at 120C for 6 hours straight and it laughed at me, compared to every nvidia card I get which I end up frying within the first 24 hours. It's usually the VRMs that go, it's a good idea to drop VDDC about 100mV if you can. Title: Re: Hello to All!
