Some of the inputs came from here;
https://blockchain.info/address/115ZtZBrhso9PbHBUh44gf6ycxmoHHEFp1

home to some freshly gen coins.

the previous binary messages were from outside the system. These appear to be generated from within the same or similar mixer as the other transactions moving in and out of 1DkYBEK

hmmmmmmmm

looks like it is just someone with a regular payuot from BTCguild.  following it back to see what amount they received from the guild. missed it when I was tracing backwards. They are quite possibly just a normal user....

a bunch of us have noticed that addy move more out lately than is usual for the addy. Because of a bunch of us have been watching it.

@Organ  it looks like someone that used the laundry service but you are able to see them on both ends. It does not mix very well.

Because it does things like this;
https://blockchain.info/tx-index/17582135/68
It splits them up like it should but it uses addresses that are in the same wallet(s). best I can tell anyhows...  :-\

They are definetly mixing them just not with anything very sophisticated. They have coins from Btcguild, mtred and deepbit all within a few days of each other.

alright, enough of that for now. Let's see what they had to say. ;p

"What did the sun say to the fat man?"

It depends on the time of day. If both the sun and the fat man appeared together, the sun would say "Good morning, fat man". If however the fat man was a shift worker and only awoke while the sun was going down, the sun would say "Good evening fat man".

I think that's covered all bases? It's not a very funny joke though, sadpandatech.

No disrespect toward Goat, for I've never really thought ill of him, but how the hell did he come across that find. As far as clicking through the tx chain, I ran across a neat dynamic thingy that may make the task a tad bid easier. I'm sure it was mentioned here, but I learned about it from the other Bitcoin Forum which I don't partake but got there via Google the other day. I think it's called Block Viewer or Chain Viewer or something like that. I hope that helps you guys out. I just got online just started reading this thread.

Later, all.

"What did the sun say to the fat man?"

Quote
Don't want to be a fat man,
People would think that I was
Just good fun.
Would rather be a thin man,
I am so glad to go on being one.
Too much to carry around with you,
No chance of finding a woman who
Will love you in the morning and all the night time too.

Don't want to be a fat man,
Have not the patience to ignore all that.
Hate to admit to myself half of my problems
Came from being fat.
Won't waste my time feeling sorry for him,
I seen the other side to being thin.
Roll us both down a mountain
And I'm sure the fat man would win.

I know that song but in this case the "fat man" refers to the "big bomb". Anybodys know what the sun says?

The "fish" of course are all the bona fide inverstors.

Ah, hence the "What did the sun say to the Fat Man?" joke. Something like "Hey you, piss off or you'll face a demarcation dispute like you've never seen before!"

You know, because the sun and the Fat Man are both nuclear devices? Sheesh, hate having to explain jokes.

You dont get it yet:

1945 -> "Operation Sunrise" -> Fat Man -> Nagasaki

Yes, I got that. But what was it that the sun actually said? "Hi, long lost relative"? "I won't stand for competition"? "Holy shit, I never knew I had a kid"? Not much point explaining the mechanics of the joke without also including the punchline in the explanation.

Since the decoded message stems from that Hitchhiker book(s), shouldn't we be searching this forum to see who has referenced other aspects of Douglas Adams' novel(s)?

Who, in a geek forum, has mentioned douglas adams?  That is gonna be a big list.

Probably, like, at least 42 people.

Or a tall guy.
Geek forums tend to have a lot of self referential stuff.

Silly people, pirate's telling you where he's gone.  He is spending a year dead for tax purposes and can be found at the Restaurant at the End of the Universe.

We need a reason?

BTW, search this forum using the term "Restaurant at the End" (with quotes) and see what you find. Only three names. That should narrow it. Oui!

My analysis doesn't show any evidence of laundering. Try and think before you post conclusions.

Yes. Now convert it at convertbinary.com and tell us if it's that bitly address for the Amazon advert.

Copypaste the binary to the appropriate box on the website I linked to. Website converts to something you can read. Easy peasy. I gave up on GPG on a mac.

I can perhaps help if you still have a need. What purposes were you using it for?

I finally succeeded to decrypt the code  :)

01101001
01110100
00101110
01101100
01111001
00101111
01001111
01000001
01000100
01101100
01101110
01000110

I got a weird link: bit.ly//OADlnF

Yes, that's the advert I was referring to.

Now any time you see a series of binary tx's coming from or going to an address, you'll be able to convert and sate your curiosity.

Or you can send a few yourself and create your own mystery.

Thats a really clever and cool way to transfer messages  8)

What kind of advert do you mean? The link shows a T-shirt with a "Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" reference.

It wasn't the ad I thought it was - it's a new message! Good find.

...and I have to wonder if that's a bit of a hint as to who was behind this one.

Is OADlnF just random letters or could it be an acronym?

Read about the way bitly works. Its just a random series of numbers.

Generally you can individualize your links if you are registered. I thought OAD... could refer to "Adams Douglas".

Some one is saying bye? Also several 100K BTC has been moved from that address.

That was apparently piuk's doing (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=40264.msg1158100#msg1158100).

I just traced the way of the binaries (bitcoins) back to the first input, its 0.42. Coincidence?
https://blockchain.info/address/1Bitcatou6hjV8Yci61AVvzu4V39rFUNUM

I think that the hidden Ba?on is supposed to mean sth., just as OADlnF (Too many coincidences to me).
It looks like a peculiar code based on Doug Adams works and using bitcoin as a means of transmission.

I'd say bitcat's responsible, then - I reckon you should PM him and find out.
