It's not the quoting, it's the stupid things people tend to say in response to the quote. :-) My "greatest hits" or anything controversial, actionable, offensive, or otherwise assholish are quoted and can be found via search. I have no problem with that. The instant I didn't want to delete a post because I wanted to keep it, I decided to delete everything I could on the forum. No one should be so attached to their precious posts. I find it pathetic. I had been keeping my posts at 100 for "full member" status, but now I just care about not-newbie status. If Theymos wishes to restore my deleted posts, it's his site after all. We just provide the content and traffic.
