Look into this. They are also making SIM cards that work with the blockchain for those that do not have smartphones.

Do you realize that even if you find some legitimate service of that type and you won't get scammed fees of the SMS buying/paying services are insanely high. You will pay more than 1/3 of your SMS cost as a fee to mobile operator. If you would buy that way you will lost some money in a process. So avoid this at all cost. Your best bet if you don't want to use exchanges is to use localbitcoins service.

Ok guys thank you so much  :) . Yea I know that fee will be very high but I can't use online exchange now and the nearest "physical" exchange is more than 1 hour way, So its probably one way for me. But really thank you. I will try that coinapult.com it looks fine.

How would it work? If I have a PAYG sim that tops up at a corner shop what would happen then? I don't think it'll work unless there's full verification with papers as otherwise there is nothing stopping you using someone else's phone.

when you send a donation via SMS, half of it goes to the network operator... now you can easily do the math... you have to be crazy (or selling useless stuff like ringtones) to accept this kind of payments
