Title: Ripple wallet?
Post by: bitcoinrocks on May 05, 2015, 07:47:09 PM
Does Ripple have a desktop wallet?  Am I supposed to store it in their web wallet?

Is the online Ripple wallet considered safe since it comes from the Ripple foundation?

I would assume it is...  They are going after banks to be their clients, so they'd have to be safe.

Edit:  I made a thread about the highest funded cryptocurrencies https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1045967.0

It might help you.

And this just out FinCEN Fines Ripple Labs for Bank Secrecy Act Violations (http://www.coindesk.com/fincen-fines-ripple-labs-700000-bank-secrecy-act/)

Just don't forget, in the alts scene, no "coin" is "better" than the other.  All of them are guilty of being involved in one form of "scam" or another.  Read the "Story of Bobsurplus (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=896480.0)".  It will definitely give you a different perspective.

Anyone criticizing another "coin" is either clueless (just a blind supporter), butthurt (for losing money) or is plain fudding (usually with an ulterior motive).
