Ok, who should I use for escrow? Ideally I want to get someone who is online

im willing to escrow this if you wish. my fees are 0.5% from the amount of escrow, with a minimum of 0.005 BTC
in your case, for that 0.1 BTC fees would be only 0,005 BTC , PM me if you want this done.

BTW hashcat is legit program, i use it sometimes for wpa pentesting, just make sure u download it from official site.

cheers

What I would advise you to do is find a trusted escrow that you are comfortable with, transfer the 0.1 BTC to them and then the escrow can confirm that you have paid. This means that users will know you're not a scam and will try to help you out. In case nobody cracks the code in a specified timeframe, the escrow would return their funds back to you. So both you, and the potential crackers will be protected.

Is ------ the password?

There's likely a reason OP asked for a PM.

And i'm guessing there's also a reason why OP doesn't want to use escrow.. It's pointless to try to solve this and just hope he will give you money
after you send HIM the solution, in case you solve it. There's 99.9 % chance you will never hear from him again.
I was willing to escrow this, but he just went offline right after my post, so you be the judge.
