Title: New mobo recognizes one of my 6850 but not my 5830, any help?

EDIT! Solved the issue, i didnt have two 2x6 pins plugged in. I tried that and it worked perfectly fine. Thats probably what accounted for the really loud fan sound.

Lol yea, got he might have blown my psu  :'(. Got everything powered by an antec continuous power 550 which should be enough even for some oc, turned it on all good. Then a few hours later... sizzzlleee... POP.  :'( :'( :'(
