Title: New mobo recognizes one of my 6850 but not my 5830, any help? Post by: NestEggNessy on September 01, 2012, 01:23:23 AM EDIT! Solved the issue, i didnt have two 2x6 pins plugged in. I tried that and it worked perfectly fine. Thats probably what accounted for the really loud fan sound.

Got everything powered by an antec continuous power 550 which should be enough even for some oc, turned it on all good. Then a few hours later... sizzzlleee... POP. :'( :'( :'(
