UPS doesn't care what's in the box. They just throw everything in the truck and hit the road. I'd expect the box too be packed with peanuts. That helps the box keep its shape under pressure, and also, can insulate the contents from shocks and vibrations from the moving vehicle. Use an anti-static bag. There is a reason they exist.
