Title: 1986 Gold 5 coin Panda set in original mint packaging (59.1g pure gold)
Post by: markj113 on May 06, 2015, 10:07:40 AM
Those that know their gold will know this is a very special and super rare set of 29 year old Panda's (so no spot value offers please ;) )

I have for offer a full set of 5 coins of 1986 Gold Chinese Panda's in original Shanghai Mint packaging -

1 oz
1/2 oz
1/4 oz
1/10 oz
1/20 oz

As these have never been touched by human hands, still in the original mint packaging and should grade very high should you wish to do so -

I will also supply the original receipt from a very well known UK bullion dealer (Atkinsons - http://atkinsonsbullion.com ) so there is no doubt about authenticity.

Would you rather stare at the digital digits on your screen or have a treasure chest?

That chest is so epic! I love it :)
Personally I would use nothing but a modern safe.
But the story to not tell if the chest is stored inside a safe?

So you have decided to split up your Panda collection,
Does that mean that you have does 2 x 1/4 Oz Panda for sale now (don't remember the year)?

The chest is kept in a safe at my place of work. one much larger and more expensive than a regular home safe.

Not looking to sell any of of the other pandas at the moment but will drop you a pm if I change my mind.

Sounds like a great place, how much does the chest weight fully loaded? It does not look like a piece you pick up and run away with...

Feel free to send me a PM if you decide to let go of the coins from the none-complete set you have.

Wasn't going to post, because the price is too high for me; however, I had to say something..... Dude, that chest is nice.

How much for the chest without the coins?   :)

That's an impressive collection. How many oz of gold do you have in total?

Should I decide to bid and/or win on ebay, I could pay in bitcoin?
What's the auction number?

The coins were made by Shanghai Mint in China in 1986,  in those 29 years the coins have never been removed from the original mint packaging and its the complete set of 1oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz and 1/20 oz coins.

The 1/2 and 1/4 oz are the most expensive to source due to the low mintage figures.

Old Gold and Silver Panda's hold quite a high premium which will continue to rise in the future.  Only selling these to fund another gold purchase.
