You could set prices off of that market minus X%.

But the price would have to be discounted from the trading post $/gem/gold trade that it's worth it for the extra security risk.

100 gold = 10,000 silver. The current average price is 24 silver per gem. That means 417 gems =~ 100 gold. $10.00 USD = 800 gems, so $5.21 = 417 gems. Maybe $1 off of the gems to gold trade is fair, so using the Gox Average, 4.21/10.95=~ 0.4 BTC (rounded) per 100 gold. Forget what I said earlier. To be honest, one can't really do this (base prices around gems) right now, because the prices are not set yet. Nobody knows for sure how much a player will have at all times on hand at level 80, after playing for a couple months. I think it won't be all that much, but I might be wrong. Still looking for more ideas when it comes to prices guys. |
