This will just be one more reason why alternative currencies will exist and why people would start to use it. This thread isn't about giving altcoins a chance. This thread is about promoting cryptocurrency in general as a way to do the above. Once it is widely adopted by the general population, we can think about creating copycats. Right now, 99% of the shitcoins are scams, and are created only to weaken the Bitcoin sector, and to generate profit by pump-and-dump methods.
