Title: Phishing all around - Be Aware!
Post by: roslinpl on May 07, 2015, 09:36:34 PM
Hey,

I am receiving tons of phising/scam/spam e-mails, last day I received something like this:

Quote
Roslinpl,
On Friday May 8th we will be changing out the Bitcoin (BTC) wallet. There is no risk to your balances however all BTC deposit addresses will be removed. Please do not deposit to your old BTC address on or after May 8th we will not be able to retrieve coins from the old wallet. Once the change is complete you will be able to generate a new address and continue as usual.
This change is to enhance the security of our wallets as well as allow for a future service which includes an optional multisig cold storage service.
Thank You,
The [[SCAMMY COMPANY]] Team

Be aware of those kinds of e-mails. And if you don't know the site and you don't remember that you were creating any account over there - just delete e-mail and never visit that site.

Best regards.

But these kind of emails are always on your spam folder so i dont see how its dangerous unless you received it in your inbox? But in my case i never recieve this type of emails in my inbox only spam folder.

I have 2 emails by the way, one of them used for official and good reputation sites and the other for any other kind of site, this way you wont get any spam guaranteed.
