Title: iPhone wallet now available on the official App Store Post by: Seal on September 03, 2012, 07:33:45 AM For those who have been waiting, the blockchain app is now back on the Official App store (no workaround or jailbreak required). With a blockchain.info account you can manage transactions on your iPhone as per the website. Without an account it will just display unconfirmed network transactions.

Besides a post buried in the service discussion subforum, there doesn't seem to be much of an announcement or discussion about this. P.S. its not a wallet, just a blockchain viewer. I'm still ignoring all apple products, and selling anything I already have. I believe if you connect from a unique ip, it allows you to sync with a blockchain.info account enabling the wallet features. Otherwise it'll just load up as a blockchain viewer. Last time it was first only block chain viewer, but after one update it was a full-blown app.

1. Setup or access a wallet on blockchain.info/wallet (http://blockchain.info/wallet) from your computer. 2. Connect your iPhone to the internet via the same IP address that you accessed the wallet on your computer from. 3. Install the block chain app. 4. The app will have full wallet functionality. Create a new account, or pair it with an existing one. If you don't follow the steps above, it will only allow you to view bitcoin transactions.
