Hi all. I've recently launched Bitfortip.com (http://Bitfortip.com)


It enables users to tip & earn bitcoins by simple posting and answering questions from other members.

How does it work.

To be able to post a question you will need to fund your account with bitcoins. You then connect the question with a bitcoin reward of your choice (say for example 0.05 btc) that is being held in escrow. What happens next? When someone gives the right answer or information you were looking for, you then manually release the reward and the 0.05BTC is credited to his btc wallet address.

Minimum amount required to post a question is. 0.0001 BTC .

You can try and post inquiries on were people will search to find you a better price deal for on an item/service that you want to buy, or find you a certain link, a photo, legal advice, tour suggestion e.t.c

The reward is being determined by the user. How much he is willing to tip someone for an information he would like to know.

Minimum is 0.0001 BTC with no limit to how much he is willing to give as a reward.

Withdraws can be as little as 0.0000001 BTC.

Nice, what about fee withdraw?

the idea was good. people ask and when answer is right will get the rewards. i like this.

maybe the replier who only know that language, true ? you wont asnwer it if you don't know the meaning.. :)

Sounds nice, I joined your site, I use to give a lot of answers on yahoo answers long time back and it was for free but it felt good to help people with their queries, I am a little short on time these days but I'll try and answer to some questions if I know their answers whenever I have time.

Neat idea for a site!  I guess this is the Yahoo Answers of bitcoin.  :D  There are so many questions I had when I first started using the internet daily that I could finally ask.  Like when you remember a line or scene from a movie from your childhood but it takes other people's help to figure out what it was.  The same for music.

Well it's mainly for English speaking.

But nothing stops you from putting a question/inquiry on Spanish, Chinese, Russia e.t.c.  

If i see a lot of demand and the site catches on, I will put a special menu for people to click their country and then post a question there .

So it's up to them to post on the site.

Great Site, I think you should add a task section, where people can post their small projects like, sign-ups, twitter re-tweets, FB Shares etc and everyone who finishes the work can be rewarded. Or just add an option to pay to multiple people answering a question because sometimes one gets more than one right answer and it's unfair to choose only one.

You mean give the member that posted the question the choice to reward multiple people if they provide right answers?

So if the reward is 0.01 BTC

If he chooses to reward 2 people each one will get 0.005 BTC ,  if he chooses 3 people each will get 0.00033 BTC e.t.c. ?

I believe that the current method is fine and works good.

First one that submits the information that someone is looking for gets rewarded with the whole bitcoin bounty.

 So far the maximum reward that has been given by a member is 5$ in bitcoin.

Yes that is exactly what I mean and it can be mentioned in the Question as well when it is being posted by the asker that the reward is 0.01 but it may get distributed evenly if there are more than one right answer, which as you know does happens sometimes.

Not with all them as some questions have only one single correct answer and the person who posts the right one first deserves the full reward but if a questionnaire is looking for some sort of suggestions than it might happen that there were more than one right suggestions and it would be unfair to choose only one when something like that happens. Or maybe just a way to tip the others apart from the reward.

But you don't have to add it right now if you feel it is working fine, it was just a suggestion.

Yes. Multiple bitcoin rewards could work only when someone is looking for suggestions and not when he asks for a clear answer.

At this moment i think it's working fine. Plus the rewards currently being given by the members are in general kind of small. So splitting it up won't please anyone in the end.

Lake of questions to answer.  And need to deposit for asking questions.

Well as far as I know that is the main objective of this site. They pay for every question answered. You need to deposit if you want your question to be answered that is how the "tipping" works. Have you read the OP? It's clearly stated in there and the site might look inactive but time to time there are some people posting questions. Depends on the reward, people are glad to help/answer the question being asked.

I believe the best kind of inquiries for the site will be the following :

-Find me a better price deal for an item. I think this is the best use case. (We have the recent example with the Samsung S6 that saved user Zeus 112$ AUD. )

-Find me a certain link, a photo, place e.t.c

But its really up to the user to what he will post.

I have a few suggestions to improve your site:

• possibility to start on the next line (to begin a new paragraph) in answers
• links should be clickable in answers
• possibility to answer a question more than once
• time limit to avoid old questions forgotten by their OP

Actually there is a possibility to answer again but only if the OP comments on your answer.
The idea was to not fill it with multiple answers and seen as spamming later on.

Yes, currently there are 3 posts that are seem to be forgotten from their OP. When the site catches on these posts will be buried in multiple pages as new posts will be coming through.

This service can be very helpful and its concept is great, but there is a lack of users.activity.

Tried answering a question and accidentally pushed the enter button and the answer is final. with out me giving an answer haysssssssssss.

Yes. It will take some time before the site catches on.

The idea of giving one answer per inquiry was to avoid spamming.

If the person that posted the inquiry replies to your answer you can comment again.

As for the comment section. You are right. Email notification should be implemented when a member comments on your answer, so you can reply back immediately.

Yeah, having some signature campaign or running a marketing campagin would be a great thing now. You site works flawlessy and to be honest the idea is very nice.

While other companies offer prices for quiestionairs, a btc reward is much more attractive.

Good future, maybe you can have a newsletter and announce upcoming releases there?
