Title: Bitcoind taking too long, am I doing something wrong? Post by: Sovereign108 on September 03, 2012, 02:22:03 PM hi, I wanted to use bitcoind.exe for some bot purposes, and I have been running bitcoind overnight.....its been almost 10-15 hours! Is this how long its supposed to take? All I see is this in the log (example):

I thought it was downloading the blockchain or something. I launched it via cmd line and it gave no feedback. I can now access the api, was a noob mistake :)
