This is my first thread on this forum ever, and quite frankly this is one of the only places I've seen silkroad mentioned, except a few other forums. Anyway, I'm not sure how many viewers of this thread use silk road or tor but I would be very appreciative if anyone else could check and either confirm my worries or disprove them. I'm sorry if these types of threads get posted often but I figured I'd be relatively safe in the newbies section. Well, thank you :)

I can reach their login page just fine. I don't have an account though, so I can't check whether it's possible to log in.
The site is quite slow, however. Not sure if that's normal behavior.

Really? That's interesting... I've tried to access silkroad for three days now only to endlessly await the "Problem Loading Page" error. Maybe if I uninstall tor and reinstall...? Anyway thanks for checking I appreciate it  :)

they really don't belong here anyways, Bitcointalk has tried very hard to distance itself from SR and for good reason

You shouldn't use the fact that you can say "I'm sorry" to ignore rules that were put in front of your eyes and you understood.

Yup, we have standards here. Unlicensed securities trading and ponzi schemes are fine, linking to tor sites that major news sites have also linked with impunity = ban.

Is there a list of forbidden sites? It would be good to know what sites are taboo here in order to avoid being banned.

I, too, am having a little problem understanding this thread. What if a person posts a URL that has the URL of a site that is not allowed here? What if a person posts a URL that is illegal in another country, but not in the US?

I'm playing Devil's Advocate here for clarification.
