The OS choice should best fit the purpose. I personally prefer Debian for just about everything but there are a few other applications that other builds are best suited for. Surely the official ubuntu site? That's where I got mine. Much prefer it over Windows. Though if you're trying to leanr linux maybe something other than ubuntu or get a raspberry pi. If your not sure, use 32bit. i have a 64 bit. yes the torrent is ok but my connexion is not so great. 65kb/s well at least it wont stop halfway and cancel. thanks mate. can i get back to you if i am having problems? I'm a fully converted Linux guy now ;D (Ok I admit once in a while I still log into Windows to play games) Seriously though, I'm using the Xfce 64bit edition and it's totally awesome. I would never have dared run 64bit win 7 with only 4gb of ram on my machine.
