Title: Marbles Post by: Marbles on May 13, 2015, 12:50:11 AM Have you missed playing Marbles with your childhood friends? Soon you will be able to play a nice game of Marbles right from your wallet, you will win some and lose some, a combination of luck and skill with no house advantage, just player vs player and the best players will go home with a load of Marbles. The Game will be decentralized and will not be controlled by anyone. There is no other development plans for Marbles at this time. POW ended with coin supply around 874k. POS reward now is 10 Marbles of which 5 goes to Mastertnodes. I will update you tomorrow on release date for wallet with built in Marbles game. I will need 5 people who are willing to risk some coins in beta tests, if you are interested send me a PM, only compiled windows version will be available for testing. Do you plan on getting a server to devote to the network so that it stays healthy? It appears that you may have received over 80000 coins from instamining. I hope an exchange comes up quick, and the price is good. That way you can relieve yourself of some of those coins and you can rent a server. While you are at it, a block explore would be great. This coin has a great name, and has some potential. I like the branding and the rewards are unique. Also, it doesn't bother me as much to gamble mining as it does straight up buying coins with BTC. Title: Re: Marbles Post by: CryptoClub on May 13, 2015, 04:33:06 AM do we need another sha-256? ??? Yes, I have SHA-256 rigs and they are easy to rent. Weird GPU algos can be used, but those will get gamed by someone anyway, so SHA-256 is as fair as any really. Title: Re: Marbles Post by: bones261 on May 13, 2015, 04:35:11 AM Should have picked NH to mine this coin. Title: Re: Marbles Post by: samspaces on May 13, 2015, 10:11:52 PM What I don't get is people are claiming mining costs to be around 3k and people are selling this coin at around 1k? How does that make sense? We can deduce that below 1k is still above the mining cost of some. Title: Re: Marbles Post by: Marbles on May 13, 2015, 10:19:32 PM POW ended with coin supply around 874k.

Title: Re: Marbles Post by: bones261 on May 14, 2015, 04:54:30 AM Must be nice to be a masternode. How many coin can you get from one masternode on an average day? If you got the 5th masternode, you can expect about 1350 coins per day. If someone drops out, it will be more and if more people get masternodes, it will be less. Formula is (1350*5)/# of masternodes = expected coins per day. Title: Re: Marbles Post by: bones261 on May 14, 2015, 05:30:12 AM So, with this coin it appears it is possible to stake and have a masternode? My experience with other coins I'm in was that staking had to be shut off. Did I do something wrong? ???
BTW, thanks everyone for the cheap coins. I was able to get the 2000 coins I needed for under mining cost. (At least for me.) But if I did that, I would miss out on some gems like Tron and Shell. I'm just disappointed because this coin seems to have a lot going for it. Low coin supply, masternodes that works great, decent miner interest during POW. Oh well, I guess I'll bag hold and hope for better days. That is the best course of action for us, bag hold, stake, and get a dev or see if ours returns and was maybe busy coding the Marbles game. (unlikely, but anything is possible) Title: Re: Marbles Post by: CryptoClub on May 17, 2015, 02:55:23 PM At this point I would guess the dev has abandoned us, a real shame as I did play marbles as a kid and have a collection of them, so that is a pretty rotten trick to pull on people, using Childhood memories to scam 1 BTC mining? In fact, I have maybe 5,000+ marbles in real life, all sorts of crazy antique and vintage marbles. They are extremely popular among collectors and I just happen to own them because of my past businesses. Here is a site more about Marbles and real life interest in them, not mine, but a good resource: http://www.marblecollecting.com
The pro side is great branding for this coin and the dang thing works, so it could be worse, at least master nodes are working to my knowledge, staking works, and the coin is operational. Cheap to accumulate obviously, and hopefully something happens with it, guess I will keep staking and hope for a miracle. I would be willing to give 20% as a bounty if anyone does help. :) Title: Re: Marbles Post by: BTC-BTC-BTC on May 18, 2015, 01:34:17 AM Another dev left their coin. Can we all put together some funds / coins a side for a group of people that able to go through all the codes and some analysis on the new coins. just way too many scam coins going around and people just don't want to hold on any coin at all.

Why just leave the coin ??? Title: Re: Marbles Post by: bones261 on May 20, 2015, 11:35:11 PM Bad that dev left, wallet work and stake no problem. Why just leave the coin ??? Either was satisfied with the BTC made from dumping high on yobit, got upset at someone's FUD, moved on to another project, died, or is now in some kind of institution (jail, hospital, etc.) Or perhaps the dev couldn't figure out how to make the marbles game work and gave up. Who knows. Title: Re: Marbles Post by: bones261 on May 21, 2015, 12:04:39 AM Please go vote for Marbles on C-Cex

We should closed this thread if no other dev want to take over? Yes, this coin can pretty much be written off. I have a masternode and I'm making 2 cents a day dumping on yobit. Pretty soon, there will be no more asks to dump on. Of course, you never know, a pump group may come to the rescue, temporarily. Amazingly, the network still works.
