Just a prediction thought! :)

The hysteria was bad enough when just one pool approached 50% now we have to worry about 3 pools combined. Next we'll have to worry about, what 6 pools? 8 or more? Ridiculous. It predated the "Difficulty 1" mining idea that I think Slush came up with.
