BTC, Hashnest or Bit-x.

Altocoin, not so sure.

You can also try PoS coins, I like DMD Diamond.

Bitcoin cloud mining : Hashnest or Bit-X
Altcoin cloud mining : Genesis Mining (few people said it's ponzi, be careful) or zeushash

If you are brave enough, try cloudmining.website or scrypt.cc
Both of them offer fast ROI, but both of them are ponzi

Scrypt.cc has some problem atm. Don't invest there.

Genesis Mining only provides BTC and Sha 256 mining for now. No LTC or any other altcoin, right?

Correct, they removed the option a while ago due to the unprofitability factor

Cloud Ming is not profitable any more. ROI takes more than you expect, probably never reach! Besides that, a lot Ponzi are around and investors may lose everything. But you can see it as a hobb and invest small amount of money to try it out!

Oh,well my electricity rates are 0.20 cents per 129 kWh so I can't mine at home

So go cloud or go PoS. Home mining s not the smartest option IMHO for some time. It s hard to match diff increase and buying more or exiting completely is not so easy thing to do.

i wouldn't invest in cloudmining at this point. more legit ones are nowhere near profitable, and the profitable ones are most likely a scam / ponzi. it's a gamble in my opinion.

Plus, you have to keep in mind that cloud mining is like a casino. Someone will always win, but it probably isn't you.

Cloud mining today is not good, it's difficult to get ROI :(
And there are many ponzi cloud mining too

Also, don't be fooled with PoS mining in altcoin
You might not get profit since altcoin price is very volatile

This is why I recommend DMD Diamond as a PoS coin solution. The price has been stable for over 6 months.

There are a couple more interesting options but DMD Diamond s my primary choice.

All in all, everything s better then just buying and holding. If there s no activity inside crypto economy, we cannot expect the price to go up.

Better for Bitcoin? Maybe... But for a single investor it's sometimes better to hodl than to reinvest your BTC investment further recklessly. It's the lesson all noobs learn when they enter crypto and get burned, like I did ;D
I would think it's fine to further invest ~30% of your BTC holdings at most, unless you are crazy and feeling very lucky. Or, of course, if you are seriously involved in some crypto project and you know what you're playing with.

Well, if we all buy and hold, what s going to happen? Nothing, the price wont go up and it wont be better for a single investor.

How does the price go up? Due to increased demand. If we all hold, BTC projects do not get financed, BTC acceptance does not increase no dice there. Nobody s gonna make this project work but US.
So don't hold, at least not all of it.

Scrypt.cc is the new ltcgear.com.

If you like a gamble then feel free to jump in.

If you want a safe(r) investment look into mining altcoins.

What he said is true that ROI with cloudmining.website is fast but note that, it is a ponzi and it can collapse anytime. Be careful investing and do your own due diligence. Caveat emptor.

That third party s got the same intention as you do. To simply get more referral fees. Impartial review would be from someone who does not want you to click their referral link.
