Post by: Coinbuddy on May 17, 2015, 11:18:29 AM
It is one of the great mysteries of the digital age.

The hunt for Satoshi Nakamoto, the elusive creator of Bitcoin, has captivated even those who think the virtual currency is some sort of online Ponzi scheme. A legend has emerged from a jumble of facts: Someone using the name Satoshi Nakamoto released the software for Bitcoin in early 2009 and communicated with the nascent currency’s users via email — but never by phone or in person. Then, in 2011, just as the technology began to attract wider attention, the emails stopped. Suddenly, Satoshi was gone, but the stories grew larger.

No, it's not. No one in bitcoin worth talking to gives half a fuck who Satoshi is. Only vapid fuckwits and total noobs.

Yeah, but it still helps, all those people that are busy watching reality shows and Xfactor type shit may start getting interested in Bitcoin just because of the fascination with who the fuck Satoshi was.

I cannot forecast to you the actions of Satoshi Nakamoto.
It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma;
but there is a key, albeit Satoshi, himself, hodls it,
perhaps protecting his interest.

If you research it you will find Satoshi disappeared after Gavin announced he was going to the CIA headquarters to give them a presentation about Bitcoin. It's no wonder he shit himself and ran away, I guess most people would have done the same thing in his position.

The old CIA post's thread is now locked, but here's the link (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=6652.msg97181#msg97181).
