Of course you won't find anyone to make this deal with you, especially because of the amount and the fact you're a newbie without trading history here. PayPal can be charged back up to 6 months after the deal is done and there's no way to guarantee you won't do that. Sending as gift or any other option doesn't help.
OP and anyone considering this should read: Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=14632.0)

As selene72 said it's very likely you will be contacted by people willing to scam you. Whatever you do, do not send first to newbies. A common excuse is to ask you to send first because you can "charge back at any time anyway so you don't take any risk". Of course that's no true. Scammers will buy time until they can withdraw the money to prevent you to make a claim. This works both ways: An honest user shouldn't take a PayPal payment from someone who is not extremely trusted, and OP shouldn't even think about sending first to someone who is not extremely trusted.

tl;dr; Do not deal with PayPal, try with a non-reversible payment method and always use escrow.
