Title: Any new alt coin development?
Post by: nextgencoin on May 17, 2015, 08:44:47 PM
Any new development like Factotum or Gems to invest in, something substantial and not hype?

Please don't make this a pump your coin thread. I just want to know about exciting current projects that are launching and can be invested in.

The only substantial project that I consider valid other than Bitcoin is Monero. Check it out if you haven't, it is worth the look.

Look at Qora coin

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1015379.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1015379.0)

Its now got smart contracts (like Ethereum).

Its completely new code, not a clone of Bitcoin or NXT.

How about a client that runs on java, supports multiple cryptocurrencies, w/ core written from scratch, and anonymous client to client transactions.

Goldcoin was the first coin to implement a successful 51% attack defense system and we continue to innovate. That's what it's going to take to compete with bitcoin.

Any reasonable question will be answered, but your ridiculous questions like "should we kill goldcoin" won't fly. ::)

If you're looking to get in on a project "early" in it's life, check out Credits. Hell, we're only about to get listed on an exchange this week. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1037244.0

The coin is about 1.5 months only, and is the first implementation of a soft sidechain for bitcoin. It also has a new Proof of Deposit system that reduces the reliance on miners and generating power to keep the blockchain moving. I became a part of their team for a reason, I saw it as very promising. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me :)

These are just old coins and coins with no real world use. I was thinking more IPO/ICO's that were coming up that had something new to offer. I personally look for a coin that is linked with another product or service etc that makes the coin indispensable to the product or service.

Qora/Monero a new development? Are you kidding..

Qora has a nev developer team and CIYAM team supports qora. Yesterday World's first Atomic Cross Chain Transfer(ACCT) between Burst and Qora has been occurred successfully. This is a history for cyrpto world. ACCT leads us to decentralized exchanges. If you have a time please read this article about ACCT:

if only you knew

I know, right?

I say go start a project that is going to better a coin or coins instead of being a lazy "investor" trying to jump on someone else's hard work.

What would make you think that's going to happen?
Everyone has coins to pump support. I'm sure you'll get lots of great pumping information here.

Grid seems to be a new developing coin. Take a look. I'm no one for/from the coin either it's just the latest I came across that looks like it has potential for businesses.

you're just asking for more scam coins. there are already enough scam coins and some good coins out there. you should message bobsurplus and ask how many more coins he is pushing out this week.

Benthach, we know you are crew of bobsurplus. Dont mess around with your spams. OP is just asking about exciting project. But you talk about bob's scams.

There are so many exciting project in the cyrpto world but all you do just hype and fud and make money. Get out of here a**hole.

Polinex I bet is the reason. Many people dumping heavily traded coins there like dogecoin, monero etc. Just the movement of heavy trading moves the price up and down easily.

*When I posted this Bitcointalk said there was a hacking attempt?

The strange thing is it's the old coins that have done well this week, not anything new.

Unfortunetelly this are only temporary pumps and dumps!
There is no real value behind this coins.
Even the inovative coins that have implemented something  new in their
algo are strugling because they have the technology but nothing from the
real world that is backing their value.

Is see the whole crypto comunity (technology) like a small island in middle of
paciffic ocean with next islands or lands thousand miles away and the people
on that island do not have ships neither planes to travel to that nearest island or land
but just small boats. One day they may reach the solid land but who know when this will occure.

The technology is here and is improoving every day
but the sad thing is nobody seems to need it or using it
right now.

So the main question is why nobody is using it?
Why nobody is needing it?
How do we make people use this for their own good?

what can cryopto coins offer that the FIAT can't if at the end people need
to convert back to FIAT to pay any service or buy any product
and even this few comapines that are accepting cryptos are then forced to dump
in FIAT to cover expensies and pay tax?! :(

How to avoid this to happen?
