Title: bitcoin wallet problem Post by: heavyb on May 30, 2011, 12:57:23 PM I made a new computer and have been sending all my bitcoins to my old wallet address. Is there a way to access the bitcoins in that address without getting on the old computer? I am really frustrated and sent my whole first week's worth of bitcoins to that address and am trying to sell them to recover some of my initial investment. I am also now having weird problems with my 6970 and am on the verge of selling my stuff and quitting. ugh. annoying weekend. I would really appreciate any help.

Title: Re: bitcoin wallet problem Post by: heavyb on May 30, 2011, 02:49:06 PM to be honest I dont remember what i used to set up that wallet account, it was right when I started, and I didnt really know what I was doing. I never downloaded the wallet software, but I think I got my wallet ID off a website, ugh frustrating week. I have 8 coins in that wallet, I hope I can access them somehow.

Just go back to whatever website it was and log in. Then send your coins back to yourself. This means there isn't a problem if you didn't download the official Bitcoin client, your coins are stored online. Just remember what site it was and login, then do whatever you want with them.
