You should also include HHTT (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=95378.0) with the other pps pools.

Its a 2% fee, so 0.000018188 per (difficulty 1) share.

Let me reiterate. This list is for the Top 10 pools. There may be better paying pools, but in the case above, HHTT is 20x smaller than the smallest pool in the top 10 list.

But there is only 9 PPS pools in that list? If you are looking for high hashrate pools then why is nmcbit on there?

Top 10 pools is list one. List 2 is the PPS rates of the pools in that list?

There are pools in list 1 that are not in list 2, because they are not pps.

I think you meant the opposite of that, where there are pools in list 2, which are not in list 1, which I totally didn't realize until you pointed it out. I thought they were the same.  ;)

Added HHT to the PPS List.

Cleaned up a little bit.

The fee scheme was changed yesterday for HHTT.

You might want to add that HHTT goes by share difficulty for the fee.

50.0 * (1.0 - FEE) * (1 / difficulty)
The fee is calculated as 0.01 + 0.32/share_difficulty

I just went with the default diff 1 like any other pool right now. Soon as ASIC is out I will think of something else :)

Updated Top 10 Pools. Eligius beats out p2pool by a small margin. MtRed gets kicked off for to much downtime.

I guess MT.Red is dead for PPS.. wonder if I need to remove them from the PPS list

Bitminter over takes EclipseMC.

Mt.Red is back once again.

Itzod over takes Eliqius and ties with P2Pool.

Eliqius moved off the top 10 list.

BTW, diff 1 shares at HHTT are 17%. It's a good idea to encourage to use of higher diffs IMO.

I've resorted to listing "1% to 17%" In the Mining pool sticky, but I'm not sure how you's be able to do similar. Maybe just list the diff at which the pps rate is correct (although that means lining up another bbcode column *groan*).

Yeah I am still trying to figure out how I want to address the different difficulty pricing. Ill come up with something soon :)

I just missed the top 10 pools that where sticked. I figured this is a great way to have the top 10 pools.

Difficulty change in about 24 hours. PPS rates will be dropping.

4 hours before our next Difficulty Beat down.. ugg..

I'll guarantee anyone who wants to mine for me a minimum of 0.0000181/Share in the next difficulty period  :P

Top 10 Pools have been updated.

EclipseMC comes back and takes over the 5th position knocking down Bitminter one notch.

P2Pool takes the lead against LTZod. Last week they where tied. This week P2Pool pulls ahead.

50BTC is catching up quickly to the number #1 spot. Even after their database had issues with payouts. (Favored the miners) I was told that balances that where negative are zeroed out.

They might be much higher than that. My hashrate results are very different to the website results. I'm doing a code audit atm - getting JSON to a useable format is a pain in the arse and I might have a bug there.

Congrats to Ozcoin for moving to 5th place on PPS meter :) They are now 4% fee's until halving.

Congrats to Mt. Red over taking Ozcoin for the 7th position. Ozcoin has even lowered their fee's. Will it be enough to put them up in the ranks?

50BTC is very close of over taking Deepbit. Can Deepbit hold onto the top spot next week?

Ozcoin hashrate seems to have stayed the same even though fee's have been reduced. Maybe next week will be different?

Well it seems Deepbit drops even more. BTCGuild is on its way up

Another week or two and BTCGuild could replace Deepbit for the 2nd position.

Thought I'd mention that the HHTT rate is based on the fee for the default 32 difficulty.  It also should be rounded up (or displayed to more digits like Mt. Red's) as it is 0.00001594875.

If you're mining PPS, you're probably trying to avoid too much variance... but I've seen people with 500mhash doing 256 difficulty shares, which pay 0.00001609125.  If you have 5ghash+ you can do the 256's without much variance over a 24hr period.  If you have 10ghash+ (or more), you could do the 512's or 1024's.  The 1024's are 0.000016106504.

(ed: imo, you should set it to 64, even if you're only running 300mhash, it's 1.5% vs 2%)

We've actually been running faster than Deepbit for the last 4 days straight everytime I've checked.  I think Guild is destined to always fall into the #2 slot.  Not a bad place to be, but never taking the gold :).

Honestly it doesn't change its place in the top 10 and why i rounded it out.

Is that kind of like "always the brides maid never the bride?" hahaha

Next weeks pool report should be interesting. Specially if you noticed 4 days straight BTCGuild is beating Deepbit.

I know Tycho has spent a lot of time banning Hoppers lately. I am sure this is a big hit to his hashrate. Just like any other prop pool.. they peek and fall from hoppers. I think the same is happening when more and more are being removed.

Updated for this week. Looks like BTCGuild is so close in over taking Deepbit. Bitminter over takes EclipseMC by a slight margin. I am sure the opening of Hashpower had something to do with that :)

which of these pools are 'ASIC ready' with stratum servers? I don't think it's all 10

BTC Guild, Slush, EclipseMC, OzCoin, I believe are the 4 currently supporting Stratum.  Eclipse also supports GBT.  Hopefully I didn't miss one.

Itzod supports GBT and performs internal tests of stratum.

The Mining pools list (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=104664.0) is as up to date as I can make it until I get more check-ins from pool ops.
