I heard i can increase my activity without waiting for 2 weeks, Was that possible? or Impossible?

No you will have to wait.  There is no way to speed up the process, it was meant to take time.  Also makes it where you cannot spam your way into a rank.

Only way I can think of is if you posted in a period before and did not post 14 posts during that period.  And say you posted all of it plus more in next period.  Then yes you could get over 14 activity in that week.  But that does not make the time line as far as activity any faster.

No you can't, the rule is always simple, two weeks, 14 activity point max.
After 1 month you will be a Jr member then you can post freely without 360s limit.

OP if you go to the bottom left you can lock thread.  This appears to keep getting people to anwser it over and over.

If your able to hit at bottom left and lock thread to prevent all the same answers.

Are you saying Satoshi was able to increase activity?  Please go into more details if that is what you mean.  I had not heard of this before.

The only way you can get an account with high activity without waiting is buying an account

The only way you can collect activity fast is if you hadn't made the full 14 posts in a previous period and your post count isn't higher than your activity.

in the beginning of this forum Satoshi had 11 followers. the oldest and wisest members. each with a magic key to increase activity without waiting for 2 weeks. but Satoshi disappeared and the 11 followers with him. end of the story.

now you have to wait 2 weeks.

This is not completly true: You need all 12 keys to increment activity without waiting for 2 weeks.
When Satoshi disappeared the remaining disciples could not envoke the powers of the activity-keys without having the 12th key, hence from that day on you must wait 2 weeks for your activity to increment.

Just to add on to this. Once you register, 14 activity is available to be claimed. You would still need to wait <1 month to become Jr member since the activity required is 30. Other than that, activity doesn't start when you register. It has a time schedule, more info: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=582736.0. I was lucky to register a few days before activity increase so I didn't need to wait too much. There is still a limit even at Full member but rank higher than Jr member should have negligible limits, based on an estimation of time required to construct constructive posts.

I have seen people selling accounts with title "Potential xxxx Account".
I even have heard some people actually having their activity increased in one go, don't know how that happens, I mean how those accounts have such potential to easily gain that activity with a few posts.

it's because of post limit, they maybe spam too much in a short amount of time, then boom your activity rise to more than 14 per two weeks

Potential activity= the amount of activity accumulated after several active 2 weeks period. For a 2 week period to be considered as active, 1 post is needed. Hence, only a few is required to accumulate a lot of unredeemed activity points. If you look closely at those accounts, the post are spaced average 2 weeks apart.

You mean for example, if I make just 1 post in a 2 week period for ~3 months, which means 12 weeks in total, so 6 posts x 2 weeks period, then am I entitled to get the remaining points collected if I make many posts in the 1st week of 4th month???

I mean after 3 months, my activity should be at 84, so if I make remaining 78 posts in the first week of 4th month, will I get my activity reach straight away to 84???

If you make 1 post in every 14 days period 6 times(3 months), then

Your activity = 6.
Your potential activity = 14 * 6 = 84.

You can get remaining 78 (84 - 6) activity points at anytime by making 78 posts more.

I know you have to keep posting even though you have posted 1000 if you are in 1 month or more do not post, the activity will not increase cmiiw

only way is by buying an already level uped account, if you don't want to wait.

It's like using cheats on a console game, yeah it works but it's not much of a challenge is it?
I think the current system is great, I have a long way to go to become a hero member & even longer to become legendary but it'll be pretty cool when I reach those milestones.
Maybe try & think that way too.

one can always start day dreaming; or learn hypnotism ...
restlessness, impatience won't get you anywhere... steady approach towards your goal might take a little time but it'd definitely be worth it.
