Hawks vs. Cavs

I say Hawks what about you guys? I don't think the cavs can do it without K. Love and LeBron hasn't been shooting too well these series and it doesn't look too good for him with the Hawks defence. However the Hawks do lack super star power as no one on the Hawks scored more than 30 points in a game during the season. What do you guys think?

Well I haven't been paying attention the last 3-4 weeks as I usually do. We've seen a lot of surprises in various games.
In the last 5 games Hawks won 4 times and the Cavaliers only once. If we look at the offensive and defensive ratings, the Cavs are just a bit ahead of the Hawks.
The Cavaliers coped with Kevin Love's absence during the semifinals. Although their offense had its moments, they only went over 100 points twice in six games.

If I would make a guess it would be that the Cavaliers will win within six games (although anything is possible). The games will definitely be worth watching.

Cavaliers stand a chance on winning Eastern Conference more than Hawks...
The game of LeBron has been improved a lot since how he was playing before playoffs...

I think Hawks will win Cavaliers.
Hawks has won the last 5 games at home against the Cavaliers.
The trend should stay with Hawks for this playoff game.

we cant say that they are both in their serious mode when they played in that last 5 games. surely they will both have some adjustments on their gameplay now that they are playing for eastern conference finals

Cavs will beat the Hawks in 6 is my prediction.

 Atlanta Hawks will win eastern conference after defeating Cleveland Cavaliers.The odds are very interesting at the moment and I will go for Hawks after watching the previous performance.There is not much time to see them in action.Hawks is like a dark horse in this competition.

IMO cavs will win because James is very experienced in NBA playoffs, and he has so many champions, he is the best team leader and he will lead Cavs win and go to the final, maybe another champion for him, who knows.

Although hawks is strong and very good this season, it still can't beat cavs because they are lacking of playoffs and it has very good performance this year, so they can't beat cavs. But good luck to hawks, I don't like Lebron James. ;D

I didn't think the Hawks would come out of the last round. LeBron has carried teams to the finals before, I think he's going to do it again.

Only to lose to Golden State.

What about last year? He did a fair share of work and he broke down at the finals. With Kevin Love gone, I feel that he has but more work but what if he breaks down

I'd go for Cavs. And by cavs I mean Kyrie Irving not LBJ. Nuff said.

Kyrie is a beast. None of LeBron crap but I don't if Kryrie can do it for a championship considering how tough and solid the Hawks are

Lbj plays good on their last games, if he can do well too in this series maybe they can give the hawks a good game

I just read on an article that Kyrie have a knee injury but I still have my faith on cavs with J.R smith and Shumpert on the line.

Well I guess we will have to see tomorrow. However I really don't think that JR Smith can take on a big role as needed. Judging by how the Cavs played in the reg season, compared to the Bull it seems that a lot of their shooting game has been lost. One thing that we can't forget is that a lot of the big men in the Hawks are great 3 point shooters such as Millsap and I don't think people such as Mosgov will be able to guard them out in the perimeter

Cavaliers is the only choice for NBA Eastern Conference final games instead of put money on Hawks, Cavaliers will continue their current form with strong combination of team and with great team leader throughout the all final games and win this title.

I know Hawks is a top team in the East, but the great opponent of that team is Cavaliers.

I'm in on both teams, so this is gonna be an interesting Conference Final. So may the best team win. :)

Funny thing how at the start of these series, the West was all the talk and now with all the weaklings weeded the east is now pretty interesting

True. Add to that, kevin love wont be able to make it so it is a very big minus for them. Even timofey cant stand millsap as you said which is true and LBJs shooting hasn't been good enough since the bulls.. no, since the conference started.

Not sure what's up with all the LeBron haters. Not really a fan myself but come on... he comes back and Cavs make the playoffs and most likely go to the finals? Coincidence? I think not. Just my opinion: They would have never made it this far without Lebron.

im going with the injured cavs here. lebron can run over these guys so im hoping that the rest of the team can ride the momentum and give help where they can.

They way lebron is playing now i think the cavs cant go through the hawks. He cant do it all, he needs his team mates. Cavs is a team and it is not a 1 man team. So i go for the hawks for game 1. maybe some adjustment for the cavs can bring them to the NBA Finals

J.R. Smith did a exceptional job today..! I think Cavs will win it but lose in the finals to GSW. Cavs will probably win in 6 games against Atlanta..!

Smith and James lead Cavs to finale as expected many members they will win the first game and also will win the rest games, that was Le Bron's big night they made Hawks totally down in first game and i hope Cavs will continue their current form throughout the final games.

Cavaliers rocks in first game of final series and they played smashing and proved they deserve to win the NBA Eastern Conference Title on other side Hawks are waiting anxiously for 2nd game on 22th May as i think this will be more interesting than the last one.

Thomson is a beast when it comes to offensive rebounding..he always manages to surprise me.. really important skill to have..He is one of the key players..If he gets injured...with love n varejao out...Cavs would be really really weak in the rebounding n posting up.!

Play-off cavs is a different team actually, Lebron is very experienced on play-off games, he is the best player in NBA now, Kobe is over, it is Lebron era  in recent years.

They may fight 6-7 games, and cavs will win finally, i don't bet 1st game because it is in Hawks's home, difficult to speculate. When cavs return home, cavs will win, I will bet cavs' games at home.

Agree. Lebron went on play offs too many times even the finals and become champion. He already knows how play off games works. If they can beat the hawks again in game 2 i can bet that cavs can win the series 4-0

I think second game Hawks will won and this series will continue with twist and unexpected results.We will have to see even at least four matches to know the next champion.Hawks will resist and do its best to make a come back by tomorrow's victory and to raise moral level high to win final.

D.C was one of their best players and now he will most likely be out for at least one game. He is one of the very few he could efficiently defend LeBrone (when LJ is driving to the lane I kinda feel sorry for whoever has to stand in front of him lol).

That with the fact hawks were outplayed this much in game one in their stadium and how they played in general against late seeds (Nets actually held them that long...) and D.C injury I guess this will be a 5 game series.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will continue their quest for Eastern Conference supremacy Friday night in Atlanta against the Hawks and i hope this again they will be winner in 2nd game and to the final 4 - 0, i think they deserve that win.

Yes, I bet 1033mbtc on Cavs, I think they will win 4-0 easily. Play-off cavs is very strong, and may be the final champion. ;)

In real both teams not my favorite..
But i think cavs can do better and maybe beat hawks not more than six games..

Grats to Cavs to make it to the finals, but it won't be possible for them to win from such extraordinary players in GSW like Steph Curry, Klay, Speights, etc...

I know Cavs have Kyrie and LeBron, but still GSW stand a chance on winning the finals as they have improved their defense a lot...

that is really great experience for me to bet on Cleveland throughout the 4 games in row Le Born did a magic and they played in their winning spirit into final games and made this possible to go to the final games and get chance to win the title on this season.
