Title: blockchain.info wallet - how to track my wallet Post by: Seal on September 08, 2012, 08:17:59 AM I just signed up to the blockchain.info wallet and I'm wondering how to use it to track the balance from my bitcoin-qt client. I've been adding all of the receive addresses but it does not show a correct balance. Am I doing something wrong? Is there supposed to be a specific address from my wallet that I use to add on blockchain.info?

Why do you want to use blockchain if you're also using bitcoin-qt? I'd rather hold a smaller day to day transactional balance using the blockchain.info wallet.

So the fix is to send the entire balance to a new address within the same wallet and track that new address? Just send your remaining balance to one of your "receiving" addresses and you should be fine. I sent my entire balance to one of a new receive address in the same wallet and track that single address. Much easier. |
