Title: Could someone be bypassing the ip block on faucets ?
Post by: GannickusX on May 21, 2015, 08:13:52 PM
Some dice casinos offer way bigger free bitcoins from their faucets like dadice for example at max level i believe its 20k each claim, of course you can only claim when you have 0 bitcoins and limited from the same ip, maybe someone already is exploiting this, using a bot changing ip and claiming over and over again, he could make tons of bitcoins in no time, right??

I don't think changing your IP is possible to bypass the IP block
The web developers are not Idiots, even if you able to bypass it they would found out about it somehow
just saying  :-\

I don't see how...

How much is minimum withdraw, and how much is withdraw fee?

Don't players have to wager a ton of bitcoins to reach max level?

At dadice you only have to win, you can just bet 1 satoshi at 98% to increase your level to max in a few days,  who cares about min withdraw, just deposit enough bitcoins to that account from another to be able to withdraw and repeat?

What do you mean changing ip doesnt bypass the ip block, teddy??

i think they blocked the majority of those ip , but you could try with some vpn like tunnel bear or something alike

the same happened with freebitco.io, they blocked them all

Max faucet reward is 12500 satoshi, min withdraw amount is 0.001, I don't see how someone can cheat the system and get away with it...

Have they blocked the Private Internet Access VPN advertised at the bottom of this page?

I think it is depending on accounts and not on ip

And if you change your accountmyou can't accumulate and withdraw

They could claim the faucet, then deposit the needed money from other account to be able to withdraw, withdraw and then just do it again and again? You wouldnt even need to change ip actually

And site operators can't see the pattern?!

To make a buck someone needs to do that a shitload of times...

Even if you bypass the IP Block, you still need to be able to withdraw it. The minimum withdraw limit and that fact that you cannot <rinse & repeat> without a zero balance, make it impossible to accumulate it to the withdraw limit.
The only way to benefit from that, would be to repeatedly milk the site from the faucet from several different accounts and then gambling with that until you hit the jackpot. Your chance of doing that is very small.

Chances are it can be done.  But faucets pay so little it just is not worth it.   I still cannot understand why people would do something for hours and have a return in cent's.

This would add on extra time to a already boring process.   Imagine connecting to a proxy/vpn,etc and repeating over and over.  It just would not make sense to do.  Not to mention all of the btc address's you would be using.

Small, easily repeatable, need to execute tons of times... sounds like something you'd expect from a program... Why would a human do it for pennies?  They probably wouldn't.  Write a script to do it for you so you just click a button and walk away?  You bet somebody's going to do it.

Proxies? try https://www.hidemyass.com or some other online proxies or may be try hide.me or security kiss (currently i'm using security kiss and i recommend this)

Yes but most of these sites wont work, proxies themselves wont work most times because faucets already have a system to detect them and not let you claim if you are using one thats why i was asking specifically for a way to bypass that

I think there's no other way. But you may still use different browser to collect from faucets but for  different addresses. And i don't know whether faucets blocked tor browser's IP's. If they're not blocked tor IP's you can try tor (i never visited faucets from tor browser).

it doesn't work i tried all of them with freebitcoin ico(they have a proxy checker i think it was expected from the most known faucet), for the rest it work if you use browser proxy like dotvpn or browsec

For a while on here, there was a guy with a bot that switched through multiple proxies and used deathbycaptcha to manipulate the faucets.   It lasted about a week until the sites caught on and changed their routines to foil the bot.
