Yeah its pretty obvious that there is a diff problem, already over block 430:

{
    "version" : 1000001,
    "protocolversion" : 70001,
    "walletversion" : 60000,
    "balance" : 0.00000000,

Difficulty retarget depend on algorithm that finds that block.

Difficulty retarget depend on algorithm that finds that block.

This is the diff on sha256  "difficulty" : 0.00032395,  to low , and damn a lot of orphan blocks  ;D

Difficulty retarget depend on algorithm that finds that block.

So what is the block time then? :)

Diff has to be calculated over all algos or it doesn't really make any sense...

{
    "version" : 1000001,

    "keypoolsize" : 101,
    "paytxfee" : 0.00000000,
    "errors" : ""
}

i guess this one is dead already...

but i like the idea.. relaunch it with a working diff readjustment and it will be fine.

I'm soloing scrypt and getting all rejects. It appears as if the difficulty is set to a groestl diff.

Every prior multi-algo coin I was in at launch on did the same thing with diff. It was always a long time for diff to catch up. One tried to offset this by making the block time 10 or more minutes, but even that didn't slow down the first 1000 blocks much.

Groestl is not accepting blocks, though hashing is correct:

ThreadRPCServer method=submitblock
ERROR: CheckProofOfWork(algo=2) : hash doesn't match nBits
ERROR: CheckBlock() : proof of work failed
ERROR: ProcessBlock() : CheckBlock FAILED

Please switch to the other algos.

I use GRS algorithm SOLO is accepted block! It could be that the pool was too small.

Solo works, its getwork, but stratum (submitblock/getblocktemplate) doesn't seem to work

Would love to see this coin into exchange..
Very good coin, random rewards :)

Est 14,400,000 at block 1,000,000 if my calculation is not wrong..

That will be hell of mining for 500,000,000 coins :))

You have a nice coin here. It is VERY rare to see new multialgo coins, and a fresh change. Thank you.

I dont have to tell you we BADLY need an exchange. Yobit and c-cex are some easy exchanges to get added to.

Also a security issue. Can you please add an "unlock" command. Using "walletpassphrase" in console is not safe as password is displayed for keyloggers and viruses.

Thanks

As soon as we get added to a good exchange I will write an article on my site thats dedicated to crypto about exabyte. I get about 2000+ hits/week. www.bitcoinlasvegas.net (http://www.bitcoinlasvegas.net) . So this is powerful exposure and free.

Thanks

How do we can get into exchange ?

YoBit says: "If you want us to add a new cryptocurrency please contact us via Contacts: https://www.yobit.net/en/contacts/".
For C-CEX, go to "https://c-cex.com/?id=vote" and submit request for new coin at the bottom.

Would it be possible to add PoS in a future release, I believe it would greatly increase the value of the coin.

This coin is easy to mine(if you have your own hardware) and even cheaper to buy! It definitely has the potential to go places. I too would like to see pos on this coin. I believe it would increase the value of it quite a lot! Definitely going to keep my home miners pointed at this one for a couple more days at least!

i agree, there is enough space in coin cap to install POS with maybe 1%/month long therm

Hey guys,

I just downloaded the newest wallet ( never used the old wallet before.. so i am new on this coin..) however it don't sync. So what i did was creating that .conf file, and with the .conf file the wallet dont even open and it shows an error about runtime.

So without .conf wallet don't sync, and with the .conf the wallet dont open.

Ofc i deleted all ( also the wallet.dat because i have 0 coins transfered to my pc ) any solution to this sync problem?

Edit: i also added the nodes in the console ( nothing changed, wallet do not sync )

I'm closing the Grostl pool as there seems to be no interest in mining it.

Please withdraw your remaining funds if you have some on there.

Adding PoS to an existing coin is no easy feat. I'd suggest adding Masternodes as a means to have "stake". If you need a dev capable of pulling it off in a day or two, i can link you up.

Get rid of this line in the conf file:
Code:
algo=scrypt (or groestl)

And if you're on windows, you can remove these lines too:

Code:
daemon=1
gen=0
listen=1

Unless you want to generate coins in the wallet. Then, you would change gen=0 to gen=1

cant get this wallet to work either so annoying.

Can you confirm the wallet version in the About section of the wallet and paste it here?

Also, the dev made a mistake int he OP with the nodes. There has to be an "addnode=" before each of the IPs listed. When he updated the OP IP list, he also by accident deleted the main IP which is 52.24.99.63. In addition, the main p2p port for the coin is 11621 but you don't really have to worry about that. rpcport can also be whatever you choose it to be, preferably 10000+ to make sure t does not conflict with anything.

Make sure therefore that the node IPs are added properly in the format addnode=52.24.99.63 and add this one as well. Then try again.

There are more node in OpP
I think just remove the port part and add into your conf you will be good.

If you're having trouble launching/connecting/downloading blockchain:

1. Be sure you are on latest client. There was a recent update on May 28.

2. Double check you have only one algorithm selected. The sample config from the OP contains "algo=scrypt (or groestl)". You need to choose only ONE.
If you want to mine SHA256 then remove the "algo=scrypt (or groestl)" line entirely.
If you want to mine scrypt edit the line to say:
Code:
algo=scrypt
If you want to mine groestl edit the line to say:
Code:
algo=groestl

3. Verify addnodes are setup correctly in your config file. The sample file from the OP is missing "addnode=" from the beginning of each addnode line. Edit it so it looks like this:
Code:
addnode=178.33.126.221:45287
addnode=52.7.16.188:57195
addnode=195.154.146.221:53689
addnode=98.198.26.41:56940
addnode=73.21.159.220:56600
addnode=94.214.104.41:57582
addnode=148.251.41.117:60209
addnode=76.26.82.101:53333
addnode=178.25.161.252:61394
addnode=108.61.10.90:39624
addnode=2.62.148.66:11052
addnode=5.166.112.33:45031
addnode=197.83.254.208:11621

Ok then, but the dev needs to learn what his responsibilities are if he wants to keep fud at bay.

He's only been gone a little more than a day.. His responsibilites are to develope, not login to his ALT account everyday just to say he's here

For established coins yes. For a new coin that has just launched and got listed on an exchange he needs to be around. He needs to be around to do things like check why the BE is down, fix OP errors and answer questions about the coin etc. Sorry, but that is what is required for a new coin otherwise people will start to ask questions like above and start fearing that a dev bailed.

Well, like I said, I was just browsing the block explorer to see where I ranked just an hour or 2 ago.. The servers are in Dallas and that's only a 6 hour drive from me. I know for a fact that they have been having severe weather lately. But, I just checked and the TNG block explorer that was hosted on the same server is also down

We getting many errors.
We still here to attempt another time this week when all Devs gather at once.
