Title: How do I cancel my Bitcoin Forum account? Post by: DarthSillious on May 26, 2015, 04:42:22 PM Spent the last 5 minutes looking for a way to cancel this account and can't find anything. I don't use this forum but just received an e-mail claiming to be from the admin and that ... "I regret to have to inform you that some information about your account was obtained by an attacker who successfully compromised the bitcointalk.org server. " I've changed my password so hopefully I've locked out anyone who breaks the hashed pw. I've added an unbreakable "secret question" reply as well. Since there is no point in me maintaining an account, I want it S-canned. Failing that I'll set a ridiculously long random password and then forget it. Cheers, DarthSillious. Post by: dothebeats on May 26, 2015, 05:16:41 PM Delete all the posts you've made in this forum (including this thread), change your password into some unintelligible phrases, words, or even random strings, change email into something long then forget about this account ever existed. There, problem solved. :)
