Title: Bitcoin Wallets, mass amount but encrypted
Post by: Andolinis73 on May 26, 2015, 08:46:05 PM
Hello Bitcointalk, to start me off as a new member here in this community I'd like to come renown by selling these.
Not sure how to go about selling so what is the best way?

Anyways, each wallet has an MD5 Encryption on it that I can't be assed finding so buy and download, it's removed tomorrow night anyways.

ALL WALLET PASSWORDS INCLUDED VIA SATOSHI SELLERS MESSAGE UPON PURCHASE

These wallets are all active and live and I want to get them off of my hands and into someone's who might use it.  I suggest taking control of the wallets ASAP to ensure you retain the funds.

How about this, you send me one wallet at a time, I will crack the encryption, and then we split the proceeds 50/50.   I can crack md5 pretty easily.

Let me guess, he didn't sent you a wallet for trial?   Likely because he is a scammer, and a bad one at that.   Who is seriously paying that much BTC for an unknown wallet.dat file without proof of contents.

md5 is not an encryption, it's a hashing algorithm. You can't encrypt things with md5 and it can't be "decrypted" since hashes are one-way algorithms.

However MD5 is incredibly weak and is easily broken.   Most password hashes can be brute forced in 15 minutes or less.
