Title: Can someone please arbitrage BTC-e from bitstamp...!!!

Can someone please arbitrage BTC-e from bitstamp...!!!

Seriously $4-5 difference in price is really messed up.

BTC-e needs more liquidity since they have a massive demand for bitcoins and a surplus of fiat...

Where are you getting your numbers 4-5dollars difference? It is $3. Even if it was $5 who is going to go to the trouble of transferring exp 10btc -100btc from stamp to btc-e for a potential $50-$500? Moving $2370- $23,700 for $50 - $500. Nope not me mate, after fee's it is not even nearly worth it and there is a $3 'at the moment'. $30-$300 minus the fee, to much effort and risk for little reward.

That gap is cuased by high withdrawal fees for fiat on btc-e.

there was times when $10+ difference were common.

I guess there is a good reason for such difference otherwise the arbitrage bots would let it happens

If you look at long term charts with all the exchanges prices superimposed on top of each other you can see that btc-e prices are typically far below all the other exchanges. There cannot be arbitrage profits to be made if the price difference is normal in the long term.

I dont think anyone really can lol..

This is just from experience with horrible deposit timing or lost with the exchange. They use that lame service called payeer that actually helps scams.

Exchanges can... Funny that they don't do more arbitrage. Spread is 1.2% more or less for few days now.

still currently ridiculous... How about the exchanges make a friggin deal with each other to provide liquidity... Everyone will win. Buyers will have liquidity with less slippage and the exchanges can make a small profit...

I dont understand whats happened at BTC-e to be the leader in price the last month.  For last 2 years its always been behind did they make it easier/cheaper to deposit fiat or something? cant get my head around it.

It sounds like MtGox when you could still withdraw Bitcoins, but couldn't withdraw cash to your bank. I hope they don't take it one step further and stop Bitcoin withdrawals.

Please don't forgot about withdraw, deposit, trading fee too
Also withdraw & deposit delay ::)

So, arbitrage is impossible

this is why you do it with altcoin and with bitcoin, altcoin are faster, and altcoin exchange have a low fee(not all of them but still...)

but it's still possible only if you move large volume

last thing you want on btc-e at the moment is fiat you can't get out.
