A lot of bitcoin and alt coins is just hard on a regular book.  The industry just changes so quick a writer would constantly be doing revisions or become dated on book info.   That is part of reason the forum is so great as we get many current topics.

Is there anything certain with crypto currencies you are wanting to learn?

I didn't know how many CC exist.. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=134179.0
and hom many are died and disappeared!

Now I'm studying the basis of CC from a mathematical point of view. I found different guide and learning how block chain works, proof and other topics.

I think that in this forum and with google I can found everything I need.

There are way too many coins created daily to keep track of them. What you need to know tho:

SHA256 = Bitcoin
Scrypt = Litecoin
PoS = NXT
Hybrid = BLK

The rest have introduced a ton of algorithms, like x11 with DRK (Darkcoin, aka Dash) ,a bunch of other ones with QRK (Quark). Those are in my view gimmicks, we don't need that much anyway. SHA256 is as safe as it gets.

A project worth checking out: Maidsafe, they are aiming for an actual decentralized internet.

Here is a tool I really like from way back :).  This is from GPU mining day's I used this.   But if you go to this site it does a lot - http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency

With coinwarz you can specify the type of mining specifically to go down into one algo.  or you can select them all.  It also makes comparing exchange rate and difficulty of the alt coins a pretty simple glance.

If you are interested in security, pleaase have a look at NEM whitepaper: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7wAe2jt1MMzYVJhUUFnMHQxZ1U/view?usp=sharing

Developers did a great work using Eigentrust++ for nodes reputation.
