What do you want to see?
maybe 30 minutes faucet or something similar to freebitco.in

What claim amounts?
1000+ satoshi

What features?
roll maybe (almost everybody has it) or even some kind of lottery

What kinds of referral bonuses?
20%+ but no more then 50%

How about a system where you wait and claim more bitcoin. (I belive moonbitcoin has a similar system). Perhaps each timeframe earns you a certain amount and you can claim whenever.

Why wouldn't you like 50%+ referral bonuses?

I'll probably like a skill based faucet if possible, although it might not be feasible and easily exploitable.

Maybe you can implement a feature for every hour, the user enters a captcha to get a token or something, and then the user can collect the tokens and use it on a slot machine, or other stuff in exchange for satoshis.

Would be quite cool, and of course I hope the ref bonus is 100% :)

Claim amounts can be 650++ satoshis per hour, but the faucet must be interesting! Good Luck! :D

50% is decent amount (1000 + 500 = 1500 nice amount my opinion)
(I belive moonbitcoin has a similar system) i didnt remember this but this system will be better on time or some other factor

I started with bitcoin and alt currencies last week and with my really little experience on Faucet I can suggest those main concepts:
  • clean and light design
  • multi captcha systems to choice
  • +800 / 60min OR incremental like moon
  • lottery system OR incremental like moon
  • double winning on weekend or some special days
  • FREE referral for who has not a referral

The bold would be the best for the people who could not take referral :)

yes it seems that you mentioned is enough, claim amounts large enough but better random rolls(0.00001-1BTC) and time does not claim per hour

Absence of annoying advertisements, pop-up etc.
Design that is easy on the eyes.

How about 1k satoshi - up to 1btc per 10 or 30 minutes per claim, don't disable ads block extention :P

unfortunately i dont think faucets will ever disable ads, ads are the primary if not only source of income for faucets, and those funds will go to hosting and supplying the faucet.

People want high claim amounts and claim per hour.  I think people will stay only a short time on a faucet page in general, but I'm not sure because I have no data on that. Maybe you could do something with games. ??? :)

I agree on this, faucets without ads do not exist. How would a faucet earn without ads?

i want to see something where you don't have to sit for whole day and click claim. Payout has to be good obviously.

like i suggested in the official thread you should look to add something that is fun, like a game of levels

don't just build a standard faucet, or it will born dead

Agree to this especially numbers 1 , 2 and 5 (like bitcoinaliens does).

1)Clean and light so that it's easy to load. And no more annoying pop ups. Those popups can insert lightly in the site. Just come to think what's the best.

2)Multi Captcha . Big help if one of those has a error and slow loading.

5)Who doesn't want a bonus :D

Personally I wouldn't waste my time with them but I suspect this is what most people want from them. A nice clean site that isn't laggy with tonnes of adds and scripts and whatnot would also be preferable I'm guessing. Not sure why you're creating one though as they rarely seem to be that profitable and people will just try to game them.

Possibly, we would like to see 50-100% referral bonuses and at least 500 - 1000 sats to be given/claim...
I know I am asking too much but I am talking about those faucets who actually earn a lot, like freebitco.in

Title: Re: What Do YOU Look For in a Faucet?
Post by: pooya87 on June 01, 2015, 03:20:01 PM
i think something like freebitco.in can be nice. i mean a faucet with high payouts, every hour, which has a big refferal bonus of 50% and not that many advertisements.
in addition to all of that, it has a game of dice that you can easily play with your faucet earnings.

i've seen a couple of faucets like freebitco.in but none of them are as popular, and they didn't last long enough!

Personally, I like bitcoin faucets like thebtcgenerator.com. You don't have to be toggling over to your faucet every hour or so to redeem your bitcoins; they generate by themselves.

You said that every one above newbie can participate but you have provided signature code for newbies too. I don't understand it. Will newbies get paid? if not then you sould remove newbie signature from your post.

Wrong thread? lol.

What do you want to see?

New background that ever had or an unique concept for claiming the faucet

What claim amounts?

You may adjust base on bitcoin prize just like freebitco.in did
Just make sure you're also add jackpot also. How about BTC 0.05 or BTC 0.5 ?

What features?

At least for claiming faucet, I'm prefer clicked captcha rather than write captcha

What kinds of referral bonuses?

There're some bonuses for gathering some referral
and some bonus when our referral claiming the faucet periodically

A high rate of course. A good referral service, some kind of games before you earn the bitcoins so as to differentiate this faucet from the stereotypical faucets and a fast claim time. That's all I could think of.

Title: Re: What Do YOU Look For in a Faucet?

I have never seen any faucet that had the option to pick, for example when you claim, have this 3 options: 1 hour claim, 6 hour claim or 24 hour claim, depending on what you pick you can get x amount of money, for 1 hour you get 100 sat and for 6 you get 500 and 24 you get 2000 sat, so if you claim each hour overall you get more money if you have the time to claim each hour but if you dont you can pick the other options instead.

That's a good idea. I've seen some bitcoin faucets that generate bitcoins over time (more and more slowly as time progresses, of course) so that you can claim whenever you want.

the most important thing is high amounts and small timeouts compared to other faucets also you could include a lottery and give people tickets each claim to big prize

In the faucet i see 3 options  ;D

1. big rewars (minimum 500 satoshi now)

2. low pubblicity banner and not pop up or invasive ads

3i like more use multifaucet, with bitcoin, dogecoin, dash ecc

Well i dont know what to think, you have troll in your name but im not sure if you were trolling here, the reason faucets dont do that is because they cant, they cant sustain that amount of money, even the old and famous ones dont give more than 1k satoshis as a minimum, freebitco.in for instance gives about 1k right now and yes you have a chance to get a big prize but the chances are so slim is not even funny, i played there for a year and made about 1k claims and never got more than the 2nd worst prize, i dont know if you can really win the big prize, they claim to be provably fair tho.

One thing they have is the possibility to multiply your coins, pretty much a dice game with terrible odds btw but people play there and end up loosing all their money wich is good for them, perhaps you could do that aswell.

Create faucet that makes 1k satoshi or more per 3 - 6 hour.
Also will this be multifaucet with some other coins involved maybe?

Much better if fixed 1k satoshis per hour than minimum 1k satoshis for per 3-6 hours.

I agree with the multifaucet but he must separate it in other site.

Another good faucet for me is the Bitcoinaliens faucet , the one with 5 minutes interval (aside from 1k sat fixed hourly fixed from their another site). The way does this faucet gives is what I look in a good faucet.

Mm for me its not good and probably for other people as well, you have to claim every 5 minutes, thats not good, the profit is definitely better than other faucets per hour if you have the time to sit and claim every 5 minutes, i dont. What i like to do is claim once every hour on different faucets, not too many, simple and easy, if you have the time and really want to spend it claiming faucets then go ahead but its not going to be profitable.

250 x 12 Satoshis is the minimum reward per hour in BTCaliens. Its impossible you get 250 always every 5 minutes. Like mine earlier I hit a jackpot of 15k satoshis from there. And afterwards 50% 400 , 30% 250 and 3% 1000. Overall much better than 1k satoshis per hour or 30mins. I don't get bored waiting and I can monitor it because at the same while fauceting , Im doing my paperworks here in office :D Well everyone has different likes to look in a faucet. I just state mind. :) Hope my English is fine lol.

    • Smooth web color
    • Big refferal commision.. (People will share it, to find his follower..)
    • and high reward of course...

I know whats the average, they tell you, around 4k satoshis/hour which is good but its not great, you need 100 hours just to get 0.004 bitcoins and thats not good, then again if you have time and the patience to go there every 5 minutes and claim, good for you but personally i cant do that and thats why variable claim periods would be the best solution.

The technique for fauceting is not to focus on same faucet. Back in my fauceting days (yes I started bitcoin earning thru fauceting) , I used to work on 30+ faucet a day while at same time Im working on my officework so I dont get bored. In my case I have a time doing doing it while waiting for other hourly faucets to refresh. Patience is a must if you like to go on fauceting. If you don't have that forget fauceting.

Good idea. An apk version because many people nowadays have spending more time in their smartphones than PCs and Laptops .BTCaliens does this but sad thing low payout on their app (maybe because of adspace) .

The best faucet for me would hold this:
    -Top payments from 1500 - ... satoshi
    -Referral commision 50% at least
    -Payments instant
-Click on ads and get paid for example 50 - 150 satoshi
-Sign up ads and get paid for example 500 - 1500 satoshi
    -No lag
    -Awesome design
    -30 minute waiting time
    -Stats bar
-Buying adversting space on the faucet
-Little games that can earn you satoshi
    and a lot more

You can build an Empire Faucet easily with this if you know how to control it !!

Make a system which is beneficial to all not just admims, i mean don't give 300-500 satoshi every 5 min, don't make anything like moonbitcoin, don't try to involve user for whole day, I mean give some good payout in good interval of time.

Once an hour is good IMO

Preferred intervals between claim depends on the users availability and "purposes".  Some of  BTC newbies preferred a short interval because they think it can boost their satoshis fast. Some of average and intermediate level preferred long time of interval.

Edit : OT. Why my font is big. Im on mobile mode. Or it is just on my view  ???

Well obvioisly if it is long intervals you should be paying more and if it is short intervals less, i think anyone would prefer to have a 24 hour interval faucet that gives 10k guaranteed, for example, rather than having 1 hour claim that gives 500 satoshis, yes you would get more if you claimed every hour but no one does
