90 million coins with a 90k price? It's not 4th in market cap after LTC and ahead of DASH. There are only a handful of coins on the exchange and someone is buying from themselves to generate volume.

I bought some cheaper in the 70's and I'm ahead. I know a lot of traders and any that trader have always told me they made btc so if it is a scam its not a good one because people are making profit from it.

If you bought higher and it's not back to where you can profit all you can do is try to average down buy buying more at the cheapest you can and selling those at profit to them. do it a few time and you can be back to overall profit. I had to average down once on this but now I can profit again.

Now is an accumulation point as far as I am concerned. I bought some at this low price too. I did indeed average my cost down as I missed the last exit time. Shit happens. Risk to play this game.

And what? All networks (PoS,PoW,hybrid PoW+PoS) uses own algorithms of works. Proof-of-Stake,Proof-of-Work is a variables of methods for protecting that's networks from double spending attacks( attack 51%).

In crypto it's already shows a method(stage) for earning rewards(coins). Different algos can use PoS at work.

If you notice as the price drops more coins become available for sale...when the price was at its peak there was only 10 - 30 k available and now it's almost 300k! I expect that number to reach 10 million before the dumping is over!

I though this coin is the best opportunity as it dropped like crazy in the last week I bought some at 1ok,  7k and 4k and most at 1.5-1.8k and some at 1.2k.
It just hit 0.5k. No one bought this coin cheaper in the history of it. It must be the developer selling off or something is going on here.

They're just transferring the coins from the many accounts they used to fake the volume into the top wallets to make it seem like someone's accumulating.

What will be the best approach regarding this coin?

We need to make the best of the situation even that we lost 75% of our investment when the coin trade at 0.6. Will it be an option to buy more? Or just keep it for a few months? Something must be going on as the charts from the begin was never this low not even 10k. So it's either the developer selling off some or someone with a hell of a lot off it playing with the price and buy and sell their own coins and make profit of the buyers and sellers in the middle.

I don't know anymore.  I just bought some at 150 and immediately all the buy orders were taken to 108.  I see another wall at 99.  Probably fake.  I think I will  place an order right above the massive 52 order.  Probably fake too.  I am thinking about setting an order at 2 satoshi, but that might be stretching it.  Its exactly like gambling.  I am playing with a little money I can afford to lose.  But nobody likes to lose money; especially if you work you butt off to get it.
It sucks to think that I actually started buying some of this coin at 40k and now it could be like RDD coin.  But still, you never know.  And that is the thrill of crypto.

Does somebody know what was the ICO price? Can somebody confess how many coins for ho much he bought? I personally don't see any problem with the fact that all 90 million coins were premined and then sold via crowdsale. This is how ICO's are executed usually. The biggest question is how many coins from those 90 million were sold to those 92 participants. My assumption is that at least half of those 90 million coins were neither sold nor destroyed and the dev is slowly dumping them either via putting sell orders or just dumping into buy orders. So he is secretly continuing the "crowdsale" for whatever price. :) At the end I have no problem with that if he uses earned money for developing of this coin. Also the distribution of the coin is getting better so there is still chance that we are not doomed. My recommendation is to stick with trading a couple of the top 50-100 currencies (market cap) that has been around for at least 6 months to a year and have a development team (more than one person). I lined up a meeting with Bill at Bittrex to discuss all our coins, projects and their listings on Bittrex.
We asked them to sign our NDA and Bill asked us to send it to them.
I just heard back from Bill the other day and he mentioned Bittrex will only sign their Mutually protective NDA and sent me a copy.
I sent it to Crowetic and most likely a Lawyer will look it over prior to our signing it.
Most likely it will be another week or two before Crowetic and/or I will be able to setup this meeting...

I am still away and might be yet for another 1 to 2 weeks and it has been tough to
align meetings etc while away and I informed Bittrex of this and asked them to postpone any delistings till we have our meeting
filling them in and reassuring them these are legit coins/projects that will have their tech released in the future.
It is unfortunate Bittrex new policy is even making it harder for Teams with legit coins/projects
that keep things under wraps and have dealt with much difficulty including these threats of delisting.
We do hope that we will be able to setup an arrangement that will be reasonable and just.
For the hundreds of scam coins that had been listed on Bittrex we at least have a few of ours that
are legitimate.
IF you would like Bittrex to work with us on all our projects/coins you could let them know.

Yes this is still the GLOBE thread of the original DEV who deserted the coin.
We have taken GLOBE over, paid a Coder to rebuild the wallet and revive the chain.
It had been down for months.

We have huge plans for GLOBE in the works and even comprised a prototype usable in its present form.
One of our biggest concerns is pleading with Bittrex to relist it
so please send in a ticket to them for it to be relisted.
We did what they wanted getting the chain going and we expected them to relist it
but they feel we are not providing enough tech etc. which we have told them we are
holding back on purpose till the tech is fully ready for release in its entirety.

Once we are ready to release it there will be a new Thread and OP page
but until then there is no reason to make one.

Bittrex asked the GLOBE chain to be fixed to have it relisted.
We hired a Dev, completed this request and are having a meeting with Bittrex this week to work out the details. It took a few months just to work out the NDA issue. Now that both parties have signed a mutual NDA we can proceed.
I don't see why it can't be relisted. We complied with Bittrex requests.
We realize the GLOBE Community will naturally be rebuilt as we attach some awesome tech and features to GLOBE that have been in development for some time now and presently being worked on.
This is a slow, complex process since we are trying to do this right.

I had coins on trex but lost all.

Please send in a Ticket to Bittrex if you want them to relist GLOBE.
Posting a questions here will not be sufficient, so if you really, really want your coins back, do it.
I dont see any reason why Bittrex would lose your coins.

This was the reason we let Bittrex know the entire time GLOBE was a solid project of ours but just on the back burner
for awhile and to hold onto the db for GLOBE as we were in constant contact to have it relisted.
No doubt they are very busy this week since many coins are up for delisting warnings.

I'm glad I found this thread. I saw a revival thread sometime last year but it never got updated so I thought the revival was cancelled after all.

I was staking until October and then stopped. I'm glad I kept the wallet though.

I'm resyncing now and will be staking 24/7.

His statement is true.
They have no plans "at this time" to resurrect the wallet.
However I do not believe that allows them to steal your coins/money.
This is the greater issue, one of theft.

Open a ticket with Bittrex as most all our coins are stuck on their exchange and even though we
got the wallet chain running and gave them the updated wallet they went back on their word of relisting it.

CPU MINING-QuiBit-simplified version:
Get mining in a few simple steps.

To start mining Global:
1) Download the global.zip from: https://mega.nz/#!kFQgRBrB!szAK_UXoyS_Tb7CCIdxaLNgIEwAbnzwxE7mDxi6T1R0
2) Extract to %appdata% ( c:\users\<user id>\appdata\roaming
3) Download the Miner.zip from: https://mega.nz/#!QdRUBJSA!udsyCnAi70_kNDfNKZ99yn7z2PvOdE7ZqFOsqKG7aZI
4) extract to c:\
5) Doubleclick c:\global\global-qt.exe to open the wallet
6) Wait for it to sync the blockchain
7) Double click c:\global\miner.bat to start mining
 


CPU MINING-QuiBit-full manual:

1) Download the wallet.
2) Extract the zip into a directory - eg c:\global
3) open DOS box, cd to your directory and run: global-qt -addnode=216.165.179.42 -addnode=216.165.179.43 -rpcuser=user -rpcpassword=password -rpcport=19556 -server
4) That'll start the wallet and have it accept mining requests.
5) Download the miner from: https://github.com/tpruvot/cpuminer-multi/releases

6) Extract it to a directory - eg c:\global\miner
7) cd to that directory and run: cpuminer-x64.exe -o http://localhost:19556 --userpass=user:password -a qubit
Cool Congratulations you're now mining - or will be when the wallet syncs. You may need to restart it a couple of times to complete the initial sync, it gets hung up sometimes.



GPU MINING:
This miner can be run while you have your CPU miner running.

2) Extract it to any directory/place you would like.

I believe you have to consider the possibility that bittrex will not comply.

I doubt you have the means to take them to court for that.

In that case perhaps the best thing to do is a coin swap on a new blockchain.

Allow everyone who holds coins now (I doubt everyone had it all on bittrex) to swap 1:1

See how many actually do so and burn the rest. Or organize bounties and airdrops to raise interest.

Then perhaps increase the pos or pow rate for a while to raise supply to desirable levels if very few coins exist.

All this of course, after you have developed something for the coin to make it more valuable.

Lets see where things are at once we get the development done.
Bittrex said they wanted to see that first and the Globe platform will be awesome.
I gave them the functional wallet over a year ago.
It has been behaving perfectly and they have many many support tickets asking for their coins.
They could have started it up and allowed us to take our coins off.
We could have negotiated a payout to them to do that..
Don't worry, GLOBE will be very valuable and Bittrex was made aware how integral to all our projects GLOBE is.

Bittrex support is hopeless, at least as far as GLOBE is concerned

I sent the ticket weeks ago.
Soon the first automated reply came after a few days, confriming that my problem still exists !!!!
Obviously they never read it and hope some of the tickets can be eliminated this way, as they would consider it closed if I didn't reply

I did reply though so that the ticket would remain.

Now after so long I got another reply simply pasting some ready made answer that supposedly answers the question. And the ticket was closed



Waste of time

Absolutely not a waste of time.
They are giving choices of there is only one clear one.
"If you would like to list a coin".
We are not asking for a listing but for them to load the wallet given them a year ago so we can pull the coins off the exchange.
Please reply and keep at it as well as others and keep asking what needs to be done
for them to allow us our coins off so we can at least stake them and do OTC till we get GLOBE relisted.
Keep doing this.

I won't believe it I lost a lot of money with this coin and was a whale if you want to call that years ago when it was cheap. This is my only 2015 coin left as it was like 3sat by the time it all ended and i had some on another bittrex exchange. Are there any plans to list this somewhere. If it can get the value of 15sats I'm happy to offer some coins to the person that can make that happen.

Have you sent also a request to bittrex as Mike asked?
I think almost all the supply is locked in offline bittrex wallets.
It would make more sense to relaunch and swap for those that still have some.

It's been too long without news.

Perhaps it's time to list in an exchange now that some cheap new ones are available, like coinsmarkets or southexchange.

Maybe that will raise interest and bittrex will consider relisting, or at least old holders will have an incentive to push bittrex stuff to allow withdrawals.

But some news about actual plans for the coin would be best.

I can't even get a connection any more. I suppose this time the coin really is done. Despite all reassurances by the team  :(

I never stopped running it but I only see 1 active connection in the wallet, even right now

I had connection to the GLOBE network yesterday for a good number of hours but then lost it.
So please keep your wallets open 24/7 till we get this resolved.
This is why we need to upgrade GLOBE to a newer wallet.
Soon as KORE is released we will do this.

The wallet update can't come soon enough. It's great to see globe getting some dev attention.

Agreed, the new wallet cant come soon enough but our first priority is KORE.
Actually there is tons that cant come soon enough.
I can assure you the KORE Development Team is aware and working diligently
to get us all what we need and what is promised.

How's it looking for the update?
It will be 90 days in about a month from now since the announcement here about a new wallet

The update is tied to the release of the new KORE wallet.
We will be able to release the KORE wallet hopefully by the last day this month or if delayed within the first two weeks of April.

This might delay the GLOBE wallet by a few weeks is all...

GLOBE Linux wallet build commands:

Matrix put together a series of commands to assist you in compiling a Linux GLOBE wallet.
This is to further assist the community to run GLOBE wallets to support the chain till the new wallet is released in a few months.
I'm running a GLOBE wallet on Linux Mint and have over twice the amount of connections than my Windows  wallet.
For some reason my windows machine seems to limit the number of wallet connections.

I've left my Global wallet open happily staking away for months now :)

Block reward is currently 6.

The update never came.
Kore, which is their main focus still has problems and bittrex is delisting it.

I guess globe will be put permanently on ice.
