Title: What is Your Favorite Faucet?
Post by: marcotheminer on June 04, 2015, 08:11:02 PM
What faucet sites are your favorites and why?

Some of the best I think of:

moonbitcoin
freebitcoin
bitcoinzebra

Which are your favorites and why?

Stay tuned for the upcoming launch of my faucet: https://LuckyFaucet.com (nothing there, yet). Highest earnings and referral bonuses!

good to see youre putting a lot of effort into making a great faucet marcotheminer, im not exactly a newbie but i hope my input can help:
each faucet has something different they offer; moonbitcoin offers a progressive claim as well as xapo integration for instant payouts, and freebitcoin offers a possibility of higher claims based on the roll, although ive never seen or heard of anyone getting that ~1 BTC claim. If anyone ever has please do tell. It also has a dice game built into it which is a nice addition. out of these, i think the xapo integration for instant payouts really attracts a lot of people, people love instant gratification

hope the faucet goes well

To be honest, I'm fairly certain they rigged it so that it's more like 0.000000000001% of getting the BTC1. Anyways, I like Moonbitcoin too since it's more of a generated bitcoin faucet.

i am not using faucets as much as i used to do back when i was new. but so far i like freebitco.in because it is both a faucet with high payment and also it has gambling option that lets you multiply your coins.
also moonbitcoin because you can claim whenever you want and it accumulates other times.
the alien faucet group is nice too because they are high paying!

I have used freebitcoin and bitcoinzebra at the about 2nd week when I joined bitcoin and I've join moonbitcoin within their first week of launching. However I am not using them anymore now, as I've gain only 100000 satoshis per week at that time. If you really want some BTC for free, I'd recommend joining this forum, push up the rank and then earn from signature campaigns.

for now im only using freebitco.in faucet coz it is the best out there for now because of high payment. maybe ill try some other faucet if they can pay atleast 1k satoshi per claim on minimum or even more

none ;D It turns out there's tons of "faucets" set up to give out free bitcoins to people. Most of them are dry though and, for those that aren't, give out very little.

Freebitco.in is the best --> High payout / Multiplyer / Donations to Charity / Lottery system / Referral reward and management system

What more do you want from a faucet? If it's easy and quick to use and it pay out electronically and on time, with a good track record... you are good to go.

The charity part, is my most favorite feature. I am 100% behind any innitiative that Pay it forward.  For more details go to this thread --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=837383.0

If you waste your time, it might as well be for a good cause... right?

one of my favority are alien faucet and robot facucets, they are cool because of the level that you can acquire and earn more, basically everything where you can farm is kind of cool

you need to incentivate the stay of an user, with you faucet, make them stay glued

for that to work is better if the faucet has something like a mini-game inside

for example one could do a faucets where if you reach a certain level, a whole new faucet will be unlocked to you, with higher reward and a different rule, based on a different mini game and so on

What amounts would make it worth your while?

freebitco.in one seems to be the best, but i started with faucets to get myself familiar with btc ,I spent about 8 hour clicking on a number of faucets non-stop and ended up with about $50 cents . So I personally don't think it's worth it.

if the choice is only three in OP I choose freebitco.in for my favourite because this is one of the oldest faucet in the world
new faucet can come and a go but  freebitco.in still survive and paying until now

i use freebitco.in freedogeco.in and weekendbitcoin, good payouts, 1 hour claim periods which is ok, i would like to see more 24 hour claim period faucets but there arent many and most of them give too little reward. weekendbitcoin is great since you can get 10k per claim on the weekends.

I personally love the bitcoin zebra faucet. My main reason for saying that is because it is one of, if not the highest paying faucet. Around 1000-3000 sats every hour. But i would say my absolute favorite faucet is Moon bitcoin. Because, Moon Bitcoin is very high paying as well. It's also nice to claim whenever you want. I just wish the rewards don't decrease substantially if you don't claim it for a while.

My two favorites are also moonbitcoin and zebra.  There is also moonlitecoin and moondogecoin if you are in to that sort of thing.  The zebra faucet used to also have a place where you can roll dice to multiply your winnings, but it doesn't take it away if you lose.

Overall though I found faucets to be a complete waste of time.  Write a blog, or post a service on the market section for something you are good at.  It doesn't even have to be bitcoin related.  Are you a good painter?  I bet some people would want an original painting for a reasonable price.  Maybe you could do paintings of coins.  That is just an example but you get the point.

i am not a fan of faucets in general, because the amount you can earn from a faucet on your own (although matches the work you do) is so low that doesn't worth going back for. and if you want to get refferals it requires a lot of work to advertise and get refferals which is a lot of work.

when i started with bitcoin i used many faucets, i only liked the ones that paid more.
the ones that i found interesting are moonbitcoin because it accumulates over time and you can claim whenever you want.
freebitcoin since it always was the highest consistent paying faucet and the multiplier section is a nice feature.
and the alienfaucet groups is a good paying and growing faucet these days.

freebitco.in

If you're making a faucet you should make the higher payouts actually pay once in a while. Give some a good payout once (like BTC0.03) and you'll get them addicted and dedicated quickly. Allow for referrals. Offer a jackpot roll once a day, that actually pays out.

Let us know what you set up so we can all try it!

I think the only way to really get anything out of a faucet it to get hundreds of referrals, offering banners for users to advertise might be a great idea.

I don't really have a favorite faucet because faucets are time consuming with little pay compared to signature campaigns. Signature campaign offers more reward than faucet. To earn a  substantial amount of satoshi, you will need to sacrifice a lot of your time.

they must found a way to make it worth it to play, but without going bankrupt or something

the payout would be the same, unless then bitcoin skyrocket again

This post has only 2 pages, doesnt seem like the interest is that big, but yeah faucets are the easiest way for newbies to start getting bitcoins, im sure most of them will stop using faucets after a while but they are not that bad to begin.

I just checked the "Micro Earnings" section and all the threads in page 1 have a reply made today or yesterday. Plus, I am surprised to find quite some non-newbies there.

I like using a few on my spare time, i dont lose anything doing so, but only 4-5 each hour when im not busy, at the end of the week i make around 0.004 its obviously not a lot but i dont lose anything.
