also i remember that you said(when someone raised the possibility of bitcoin to go up based on the 2011 and 2012 history) that what happened in the past will no necessarily reflect the future

I sometimes wonder if posts like this actually have any effect on people?

we have to do a little survey to see how many bitcoin holders fall for this kind of doom/moon threads and sell/buy their coin accordingly. 8)

If they have something to back up their claims then they might stand a chance of being taken seriously. Without any recent news to back any statement up they will have no effect. Perhaps if someone announces a piece of news it might speed up the effect the news would have had anyway. That's about the best chance a thread like this has to be taken seriously.

Other than irritating people, I seriously doubt it. even though most people have a real fear of losing even a small amount of money, posts like that are so transparent that even the most frightened investor would probably ignore it.

Besides, I really doubt that FUD like that is designed to do anything except irritate people. All the OP really wants is a reaction, and he got what he wanted.

While I think price may go lower, and I am planning for that contingency, I'm not going to do anything because farting_shot said so. That's for damn sure. ::)

Bitcoin was claimed to be dead numerous times, that will not change now.
I believe OP was being sarcastic when he started trolling with his claims and warnings, maybe thats why his nick is farting_shot

that's what I figured. these kinds of posts look like just trolling and wasting time. maybe they get a kick out of it by spreading FUD.

I am sure that no one in his right mind would fall for something like this. some people might get anxious by seeing something like this but I doubt anyone would act on it.

You can keep saying this, until you eventally are wrong. Just like people can keep saying "it's going up", until they eventually are right. At the end of the day, you are wasting your time with your FUD spam.
