Thailand has woken up from the recent Bitcoin news on Channel 5. Post by: Shiver on June 08, 2015, 06:10:29 PM I'm in Thailand, but I wouldn't sell to make a quick couple of bucks/THB - I'd rather not need government issued paper of any country (though that's going to be the case for the time being). Selling for FIAT to me is a bit like cutting your nose to spite your face - I will spend BTC where advantageous or needs demand. I like that there is some interest here however. It (Thailand) is a minor player at the moment (though it could gain a lot of face by being a world leader here if they had the wherewithal to see that), whilst at the same time I feel that if this thing is going to fly, it will probably come from leftfield somewhere that most of us don't see coming.
