Title: 8bit takeover funding
Post by: drays on June 07, 2015, 06:23:22 PM
Hi folks,

this poll is exclusively to estimate how much BTC will be raised if mastertrader777 will setup donation address for the takeover.

Please vote ONLY if you will donate the specified amount. Consider your voting to be a commitment to pay the mentioned amount!!

The purpose of the vote is to know approximately how much BTC will be raised, and whether we meet the needed amount of 5 BTC. Knowing that before setting up the donation address will help to avoid unnecessary burden with refunds in case if minimum is not met.

Please note that I personally have no incentive in this takeover (as I have very few 8BIT), and absolutely no relation to mastertrader777. I am just trying to help the community.

--------------------------------
EDIT:

Guys, please just vote above, if you have 8BIT and are ready to donate for its takeover.

This thread is for voting only, not for commenting. No need to comment, especially if you have no 8BIT coins. Any comment is better to be left on the original *BIT thread, which is located here BTW:

i think mastertrader should also consider donating some towards this and then reducing his fee by the appropriate amount

This take over is unnecessary my friend. Even if you pull this out, the only reason for people to be involved is to wait the perfect time for exit. That would be the end of the coin. People who invested just need to swallow their loss and move forward.

I do understand what you mean, however a take over with a relaible developer will make the coin succeed, people selling to get ROI will not influence the succes of the coin..

And with what do you think that 8bit would make a difference?

A takeover means a final pump and dump like 95% of the time.

Guys... I never asked for opinions on whether someone should or should not takeover this coin.

The community of that coin is alive, it likes the coin, believes in its future, and wants the coin to be taken over and be developed further. Period. The only question is - who will do that, and whether the community of 8BIT will be able to collect enough funds to do what it wants.

This thread is for owners of 8BIT only. It is for voting, not for commenting.

Thanks for understanding.

Offcourse. Top 10 .. maybe not. But a solid and stable coin with a solid  dev, is not that hard..

Ok, the voting is finished! Thanks everyone for participating!

The result is positive - 4.15 BTC was voted up, plus three 0.5 donations from members who cannot vote = 5.65 BTC, so we exceeded the minimum of 5 BTC by more than 10%!
