Batman Begins came out in 2005. Do you mean The Dark Knight Rises? Inception would definitely be up there, though. I don't think there's been many great films come out this decade. I found a lot of ones that were highly rated over rated like Gravity and Intersteller. Silver Linings Playbook was solid but not a classic.

Best Nolan movie has to be Momento. Made pre-2010 (2000), but if you've seen all of his nothing matches the brilliance of this film.

Hm. Inception is that good?

I heard it also was good but I guess the more I hear about it the more I need to rewatch it...simply put I was watching it with my girlfriend at the time and one thing led to another and we ended up doing things other than watching the movie going on...anyways when I came back to try and catch up, no clue what was happening. So yeah.

No, it's really not. I saw it twice, I understood it... it was okay. Way too overrated imo. Leo made better movies, like The Departed

I found this pretty boring. I guess it's hard to make a enjoyable film about financial collapse though hehe.

Yes, Inception is an excellent movie.
You should definitely watch it.
It's full of twists and has an amazing plot.

I don't know about you guys but I saw this movie and watched it over and over again and every time I see it, I get motivated even more. This is by far the most inspirational story I have ever seen. It just proves it, nothing is impossible if you can achieve it.

I liked furious 7, I think it was a pretty good movie.

IMO it's so-so cuz they can't edit Paul Walker's scenes very well, which ruined the whole movie. ironically a lot of people watched the movie just to see PW.

I think the movie "X-Men: Days of Future Past" is a nice movie, although it's not 100% a Sci-Fi movie, it does contain lots of sort of Sci-Fi scenes, so if you haven't watched it, I suggest you'll give it a go, you won't regret it.   :)

Try "Source Code"

Haven't seen it but would you consider it one of the best of the current decade because that's what this thread is about, not for just 'pretty good' movies. Plenty of other movie threads for that.

Wasn't a big fan of Furious or Source Code you guys mention.

The Grand Budapest motel was cool movie.

Elysium was ok.

Guardian of Galaxy was pretty nice as well.

Just wanted to let you know I saw the movie "Source Code" yesterday - it's really amazing!
If you haven't watched it - go watch it now.
It's about a person finding himself in train and repeating it - slightly similar to the "Edge of Tomorrow" movie with Tom Cruise, on the same concept - they are both excellent movies.

Definitely worth watching!  ;)

That's another great video indeed, also full of twists.
There are lots of garbage movies out there, so good thing you guys are pointing out the best ones to watch, there's nothing worse than knowing you wasted 1.5-2 hours of your life watching something that doesn't make any sense.

Batman 3

Finally saw Interstellar over the weekend. It was horrible! Really bad.
I'm a huge Nolan fan and love sci-fi, but this move was so dumb. Waste of time.

My wife even revealed the (spoiler alert) "ghost" before Coop even sat there overnight to figure out it was gravity. And she is not the fastest at figuring major plot twists out. We both just figured it would be revealed in a better way than the bookshelf black hole scenerio.

Laughable.

I am a Fast & Furious fan.  Even though the last movie made in this franchise drug in a lot of attention because of the death of beloved Paul Walker, this movie was great.  I love the dramatic effects and the story lines.  I loved how they brought the whole series together over the 7 movies and I am looking forward to the 3 part ending they are making!!

For me, out of all the movies that I have watched from 2010 to present, I can say that "Inception" is one of the best movies. I love how it was perfectly made. I cannot say anything bad to it. I would also like to commend "The Life of Pi" because of its beautiful cinematography.

The Social Network and The wolf of wall street are very good.

So far, out of all the movies that I have watched, I can say that Inception is the best movie because of how great the story was made and how beautiful the actors performed to deliver their characters.

1. Interstellar - Was a great spectacle of what sci-fi movies can be
2. Hacksaw Ridge - A brutal war film, that makes you realize that not everyone is evil
3. Kingsman 2 - This one was just so ridiculous that it made me laugh the whole time
4. Spiderman Homecoming - The way they shot this film made it 100% better than if the just shot it normally
