I think it would be quite interesting to get a glimps of how much the community holds in XMR per person.

You forgot to include the 0 voting option. Maybe some users once held monero and devested for the time being? Would be nice to add this.

Dont get me wrong, but I think this poll distorts the essence of the coin, is up to anyone to tell how many xmr he holds, but wo likes privacy doesn't gonna answer.

The richlist doesn´t state anything, so unfortunately pretty useless...
All i am interested in, is the distribution of the Monero. Again, who does not want to participate in this poll, doesn´t have to!!!

Why do you expect that those that dont have any Moneros will just vote for one number?
But on other hand, maybe if you cut off highest and lowest option you might get quite close to real distribution.

I am not expecting anyone to vote for their ammount of coins if they don´t want to.
Everybody has a possibility to vote what ever is desired, i am not intending to cut the poll. We will get a summary from time to time and we are able to get a view of the holdings voted here  ;D

I have absolutely zero Monero, but I did hold some during the recent pump. When it hits bottom again, I may buy in again.

I'm not holding any Monero, but would love to do so in the future. Just analyzing the charts and investigating about this coin before I make my move.

May I suggest you to make a plan of action?
You will probably not be able to buy on the exact bottom, therefore I recommend to start buying a little every day. Thus your average buying price is decent. On days when Monero goes up, your average price goes up also and on days when the price declines, your average buying price declines as well.
Calculate how much money you can spend on Monero per day and just start taking action. That's my humble advice.

I wish you happy holding! It will be a coin that you need to prepare to hold decades - then chances are pretty high that you will end up being a billionaire.  :-*
