I bought these cards from lightlord earlier this week. They were supposed to be functional out of the box, however, as it turns out, he mistakenly shipped me undervolted cards. I don't want to do the flashing procedure to revert them to normal. I've never done it before, and I'm worried I'll mess it up and permanently damage a card.

Lightlord is ignoring my requests for a refund + return shipping, which really pisses me off. I guess apologizing is cheap, but making things right is too expensive.

Funnily enough, that means my only option is to sell them here, since I can't use them for my original purpose. Lightlord has assured me all the cards are functional, they just require a flashing. I just want to cut my losses and get these cards out of my house, which is why I'm selling them here. I'm looking for $70 USD + shipping per card. Buy them all and fuck it--I'll go to $65. This is my rock bottom price.

I have a solid trading history, so I would appreciate payment up front. If you'd like escrow I'll do OgNasty, but you pay the fee. Cards ship from Ottawa, Canada.

Gonna be honest with you. Other people will take advantage of your predicament and lowball, but here is what I have to say:

You are being kind of a pussy. Flashing is not hard. I can't imagine you would go through the trouble of shipping 5 GPUs and cutting your losses instead of taking 10 minutes to learn how to do something and 5 minutes to actually do it.

The fact that you would drag Lightlord's name through the mud also does not speak well of your character. You buy mining cards, you are gonna get undervolted. That's the nature of the business.

Kotarius,
I've bought GPUs from multiple sellers before, master-p (great guy), phillipma (solid trade), hell, even some random newbie a while back. Cards always came in the advertised condition. They worked right out the box, which is what they advertised, and what lightlord advertised.

Perhaps flashing the bios of 5 video cards is quick and easy for you, maybe you ran a sizeable gpu farm back in the day or work in systems administration--kudos, but I'm not you. I'm aware of the process, but I lack the skill and equipment to do it. Seriously, my desktop pc won't even fit the card, it's too big!

Do you really think saying "I'm pissed off" about a transaction is dragging the sellers name through the mud? At the time of the OP, lightlord had not responded to my PMs for two days, which is frustrating considering how often he came online during that time. Feedback's feedback. Rabble rabble.

I think you should put yourself in my shoes.
