Title: Sound proofing garage for mining. Post by: Crypto84 on June 11, 2015, 04:25:28 PM I have 2 antminer s5's i would love to have more but the noise is just too loud. i know a garage is a bad place but i don't have any other place to put them since they are soooo loud. does anyone have any suggestions for sound proofing? i think part of my problem is that the previous home owner cut a hole in the steel door going into the garage for a "cat door". i tried filling it in with liquid foam insulation, but i can still here them. would replacing the door help with the noise? what else could i do to help lower the noise?

If your really lucky you live in a area evaporation cooling works. Myself I just have regular AC so I use lots of airflow. I get lot's of air and pump lot's of air out.
