Hate to break it to you, but those values are not accurate.  Looks like someone may have hacked the cointrackers site.

For a 2007 D penny to fetch that much money... It would have to be a graded MS70 proof ... there probably wasn't that many graded that high for that year, making it pretty rare...    I'm just guessing....

Nah dude, Those are people who have no knowledge of the pennies just selling. I called 2 stores recently around me and One said that they werent worth anything and the other said I'll need to contact an auction since I have one in MS+ Condition, So this is worth money. Thanks for trying to instill me with knowledge though!

You have to get it officially graded in order to recognize the value.  A loose coin in ungraded mint state will not fetch the premium.

It is true that a coin with MS68+ would be very rare, but it has little to do with the 2007 date since it is not a scarce mintage, but rather the condition.  The reason a PCGS MS68 coin is worth over $1k is because there have been only 4 graded that high in the world and the chances of getting your coin graded that high are very low.

As a comparison, a MS68 2007 cent is available on ebay for $1300 and a MS67 2007 Lincoln Cent is available for around $40 on ebay right now.  Mind these are list prices and not actual prices coins have sold for and they are also graded by PCGS which costs money as well.

If you believe you have coins in the MS68 condition, the only way you can realize the price is to have them professionally graded.  Can you post pics of your coins?

Its true coming on here saying I have 4 2007 pennys worth a ton because they look to be in a+ shape isnt going to sell them.  Getthem graded and come back here and you should be able to get market value from someone.

did you have any proof of autenticity  or expertise by some authority ?
I think that is much better for you get a real quotations of your pennies, and normally a collector want the "piece of sheet" like want your coins, because a coin (or any collectibles) without proof got a "bad aura".
Good luck for a good quotations!

Both of the guys at the Coin shops said I had some MS+ Grade Pennies but the one that im concerned about which is the 2007 one, I had ONE MS+ Grade and that for me to go downtown and visit an auction and they'll take it off my hands. So Yes, It is MS+ 95 A Grade.

I dont think you understand what everyone is saying.  Is it professionally graded or did this guy in your hometown look at it and say "thats a nice one looks like it will grade very well".  What company is it graded from more or less.  Will go a long way explaining that.

Oh, Some old guy who i guess have been collecting for a long while graded. So no an official company did not grade it. :(

No worries just tough to anonomously sell a coin on the back of a visual grade by someone else noone knows.  Easy fix, get it prof graded and come back and you will probably draw some interest or you might want to go down to that auction house just be careful you dont get ripped.

There is no such thing as a MS+ 95 A Grade for any coin in the world.....You dont have a clue what you are taking about... You have exactly 1 cent

Just because some one tells you a coins grade doesn't mean its graded...... If the coin was worth anything ..The old guy at the shop would have bought it from you...

Lol. You're the one who said something about it. I said MS+. YOU'RE The one that tried to bullshit and try to "catch me in a lie" lmfao. You look extremely dumb for trying to do that. Once again, MS Mint condition 2007 USD Penny is for sale for 600 bucks. HMU with more offers, So far i got a 300$ offer, may just sell it to him. But If you aren't going to buy, Please dont come here trying to set me up or some shit because I don't have time for that. ALSO, LIKE I SAID IF YOU CAN FUCKING READ, YOU CAN COME HERE TO TRY AND MAKE UP SHIT TO MAKE ME LOOK LIKE IM LYING BUT YOUR DUMB ASS CANT READ, I dont have a bank account. I don't want cash, I want BTC so I can save up my btc and when I do have a bank account I'm going to use coinbase to sell it and have it directly deposited into my bank account. Now please do not post on my shit again because I don't have time for people like you.

I dont think anyone is trying to set you up man.  People are just cautious.  You are new as far as here on bct so pics and escrow would be a good start. But if I were you $300 would be good id take it and move on, but I dont know much about your pennys.  And I think he was refererencing your post above that said "yes it is a ms+ 95 A Grade."

If I were the first poster then I would take the time and expense to get the coin graded by ANACS and if it is really in the condition that it is claimed then it will receive a MS60+ grade.

Even the most experienced coin traders on here do not realistically know what grade any particular coin will get when graded. The fact that you are a brand new user only makes this point more important because no one on this forum is going to be qualified to say what kind of grade it will get.

If the first poster does not have the time or funds to get it graded then I would suggest looking elsewhere because I would find it hard to believe that anyone would be willing to pay any kind of premium for an ungraded penny that is not rare except for it's claimed quality. I am sure there are other forums where traders would be better qualified to say what the grade the coin will receive when sent to ANACS.

If the first poster is not able to get it graded before selling it then I could offer 2 cents worth of Bitcoin if he is willing to pay for shipping and escrow fees. This is probably the best offer he will get for an ungraded coin as described.

If it were graded then I would offer consibility more

I wanted to add that the MS70 grade is actually a "perfect" coin or "mint state 70" while PR70 or PF70 is a proof.  The regular coin and proof are different strikes (http://thewealthbusiness.com/what-is-the-difference-between-proof-and-mint-state-coins/).   ;)

Quote
A proof numismatic coin tends to have a much higher standard of finish, contains a greater depth of sharpness, definition and detail. A proof numismatic coin also typically has a mirror like finish on the flattest surfaces of the coin and a contrasting matt finish on any raised element of the coins design.

Proof coins are made using specially polished and treated dies and are also normally double struck at slower speeds which helps them achieve a higher definition and precision of detail.

If you need visual proof please let me know and I'll post the photos immediately with my name or my thumb up or w/e you want to be in the pic so that you know it's me.

Despite the fact that people are skeptical and there is no such thing as an MS-95 grade, can you post some pictures of these pennies?

No.....I set him up with the MS + 95  A grade...question..... this proved this person is willing to tell you anything to sell his Shiney new penny and doesn't know anything about coin collecting. But uses the excuse  of a guy that knows a guy who told him it was MS+...and a Web site with some prices..... even the old guys at the flee markets selling their coin collection would not use the term MS+?????     .....with no pictures at all....  but now  has an offer for 300 dollars.....     And I'm the Dumb Ass.......  OP was probably arguing with the coin shop guys too...they just wanted him out of their shop and sent him downtown to the Auction?????

IM not saying I am a coin grading , rare coin collector or even a coin collector at all..... but I understand the language that is used...   Hell... every coin that is broke out of a roll is a MS70 to an untrained eye... but yet this guy has the very one that worth 1 cool grand , even tho its been touched by human hands and he got it as change for a slurpy

OP. COME BACK WITH A SLABBED  2007 PENNY PICTURE ( no matter what the grade is) Next to a piece of paper with your username AND THEN MAYBE PEOPLE WILL CARE....but at this moment I'm seeing a scam attempt....

Hi! I have been going through my grandfathers coins and came across these 2007 d coins. I've received a lot of different explanations of the values of these from online sources and charts. Could any one tell me if these are worth having looked at please? Thanks so much!! http://imgur.com/A6VS9pU. http://imgur.com/A6VS9pU

Yes with an image, or maybe a "scan" at 1080 dpi, we can see much better what is the classification for the coins…
But you don't ever ask more info in a forum for coin collector?!?

Regardless of your quoted prices I am interested but do you accept escrow also will you cover the shipping fees.
