How do you define the lowest rate ? Does it include INR sellers on LocalBitcoins.com/100bit.co.in ?

At this moment if you try to purchase 10,000 INR worth of coins our rates will be cheapest ( It does not mater if you buy 100 INR or 10,000 INR but just to compare with exchanges like CoinSecure )

We are simply trying to get rates in parity with USD rate, so new people who wants to try bitcoin does not feel that they are giving premium over rates in foreign exchanges. App allows you to buy monthly 10,000 INR worth of coins at the moment so it is specifically aimed at quick purchases to spend on something and for new users.

The ultimate model is marketplace where we want all players in market to compete with each other give you best rates as our app is based on marketplace model. At the moment we have one seller, buysellbitco.in but let me assure you in coming months you will see few more options and app will book lowest rate possible ( Our app can add even localbitcoin or individual sellers subject to KYC AML ). Our business model is not buying selling bitcoins, its more related to adoption of bitcoins to new and general audience.

So, you mean people will be able to buy at the lowest rate that is available on your platform. But, that has nothing to do with the available rates on UnoCoin/CoinSecure/LocalBitcoins/100bit.co.in ?

Actually if you compare it right now our rates are cheaper than Unocoin, iGot

CoinSecure, Localbitcoins, 100bitco.in are exchange and escrow exchanges, so we can not compare with this models. But in general if you want a quick availability at fixed rate for amount like 10,000 INR our rates will be cheaper.

Thanks and exactly that's the point. All we want to do is get the base rate on exchanges like coinsecure and localbitcoins ( Users set prices there and exchanges merely facilitate trade ) to almost similar levels or may be in the range of 1-2% premium.

Paying premium compared to world level is one of the argument we hear constantly from new users. New users normally get in with smaller amounts so we want to make sure for smaller amounts, when they are getting in, they do not need to pay premium.

Obviously we can not do it single handed at this moment, but we are hopeful if we can get our marketing initiatives correct, we will be able to pull this off. We are not worried about losses at the moment, as if market grows we will be able to recover our losses.

Yep, but on zebpay you will be able to buy upto 100000 INR on the same rate :P But again comparing exchange and OTC ( brokerage ) price is like comparing apples and bananas, both serve a different purpose and cater to different audience.

I am not sure if its first or not, but it looks like in last few days first time in India ( domestic market ) it was possible to do arbitrage. You could have simply bought bitcoins from zebpay and sell it on Unocoin and can make 0.8 to 1% depending on spread at that time.

Just an observation, now its not the case by the way :)

Still zebpay is cheapest in India to buy bitcoins :)

How many BTC can I buy and sell in a single day?

Buy : 1 lac INR per transaction and per day.  5 lacs INR in a month. If you want to do higher volume, please contact us on support@zebpay.com.

Sell : 10,000 INR per transaction and per day. 60k INR per month. If you want to do higher volume, please contact us on support@zebpay.com

Both limits will increase in future :)

Hi, can you please tell me why your app is showing a sell price of 15656 whereas on bitcoinrates.in i can see a sell price of 15810?

Actually, bitcoinrates.in is using unpublished test api which normally is in sync with main api, but sometimes gets out of sync due different code versions. We are working on releasing official ticker api for the same which should resolve this issue.

At this moment you should consider App prices as final prices. I will try to see if I can get new code version deployed on test api.

Please accept our apologies on this issue, it could have been handled better from our side.

Its alright. Thanks. i should have also checked the app before transferring the coins. wasted half a day because of this.

Rates should be in sync now. Really it feels bad when such small things ruins trading fund and profits. Really appreciate your support and understanding on this issue.

how much time does it take to process the order if i sell bitcoins? and what method will u pay me neft/imps?

We process your order in 1 working day, but normally you should get funds in your account same day. We use NEFT or IMPS depending on order size and various other factors. We do not promise IMPS payments on all orders.
